Yah I know again...here is the twist Sarek and/or Amanda are on board ship when it happens...

Spock wants mommy but Jim is hogging her attention

Sarek is getting tired of hearing "but why?" with a southern accent.

And has anyone seen what happened to Sarek's PADD?

"JIM PUT THAT DOWN!"

If you like Finding T'hy'la, you'll love this--more fluff than a starship shuttle bay full of cotton candy.

This is the story that several people (yes, Wingstar, I'm talking to you) have been nagging me to finish. It is sort of a sequel to The Courtship of Spock's Father, but I explain enough in this story that you don't have to read that one first.

The premise is simple. Have you ever worked in an office where all the women's...um...cycles start cycling together? Well.....

I MAY continue this. I may not. I have added as many factors as I can, to explain things I nearly missed out unintentionally.

Spock braves confiding in Jim what he feels he must before they can become ever more intimate, as they want to be every meaning of the word T'hy'la to one another...

Response to AlornJR's "Children of Love" challenge, which is as follows:

"When Vulcans choose bond mates for their kids they put small groups of 7-8 year olds in a telepathy enhancing room and let them play/interact. A bond maker sits in the room and "reads" which kids are best together and gives the parents a list of mates for their kids. It usually takes three to five of these "play dates" to fill a list. Parents then take the lists and use them to pick bond mates for the children.

Now Spock is nearly 8 and has been to many of these "play dates" and still his list is empty. What no one gets is that Spock has bonded to a human kid he met at the embassy just before his seventh birthday, and continues to "sneak" away to see whenever he can."

McCoy is worried about Spock's latest medical exam. It points to pon farr again, and the good doctor is afraid that the solution to Spock's dilemma may be something he has to consider; another mate. But will the stoic Vulcan accept it or will he deny it's back.

Can be read EITHER as: a follow on/add on to the series that begins with 'A Conversation With Q' OR as: a stand alone fic.

Spock has a child with another (full blood in her case) Vulcan.

This is in answer to Ambient's challenge for a Sarek/Bones bonding that leads to a Kirk/Spock get together.

The story begins with an STXI twist on the TOS classic, Journey to Babel. Sarek and his party have arrived on the ship, but Bones questions their health after Starfleet send special instructions for callibrating their medical tricorders to account for (read: overlook) certain known abnormalities as a result of the trauma from losing an entire planet of their people.

Called upon by his people, just after having announced his retirement, to represent the Vulcan government in the talks concerning Coridan induction to the Federation, what happens when Bones' suspisions are correct and Sarek begins to manifest physical symptoms of his well-hid mental duress.

Confusion, questions of sexuality, intensely uncomfortable situations and several requests for brain bleach from the ship's replicator for the not quite yet friends Kirk and Spock.

Note: I am aware that another answer to this challenge is being authored by someone else, but the story is in German (not French as I had originally thought as was pointed out to me lol), which I don't read so if there ARE any repeated themes, it's purely unintentional as I have not the patience to copy and paste it into a translator. Normally, I wouldn't answer a challenge that's already had one submission, but I've had two people who are good friends of mine ask me to please answer this challenge and so I write this for them--you both know who you are.
