If you're Starfleet, you spend your whole life wishing you never see an EPAS uniform right up until the moment they become your only hope. Whether you're dying a slow, cold death in space, or a long painful one on some godforsaken planet, they're going to come for you. So count your last breaths, son, and hold on tight. They leave no soul behind.

One of the best K/S FICA I've ever read. Your intelligent, thoroughly researched masterpiece was a joy to read, I particularly enjoyed the slow building K/S romance coupled with intriguing adventure, both making this fic perfectly balanced. Your light use of humour was always welcomed. Your characterisations are perfect, you've given Kirk enough depth and time to develop as a character and his humour is spot-on, humourous but not over excessive. McCoy is one of my favourites, you've captured him very well. Spock was brilliant. I must particularly commend your attention to detail, it is absolutely staggering and only makes the story seem more real! I was honestly blown away by the smallest pain staking detail. The plot was excellent, intriguing and well planned, it perfectly balances the slash so I never got bored! All in all, romance, adventure, friendship, political intrigue, intelligent plot, humour and perfect characterisations have all dove tailed in this epic masterpiece of K/S fanfic. I applaud you!

Semi-coherent thoughts on this chapter: NOOOOO! Selik must not die. Or the Automated Srchive will have its first justifiable homicide, i.e my pitch fork + outside your house, yay? I couldn't handle it, not after all the happy squee and fluffiness this story had brought me; I need Selik and Jim together forever! Basically, please, please please don't kill off Selik! Not now! Author's Response:

I have guard ferrets; you'd never get through, lol. But I'll behave.

:D I should apologise for the death-by-pitchfork-threat, thank goodness I don't actually have to carry it out! What an awesome, fluffy, satisfying end to this wonderful story, thank you! (And no more death threats, promise!)

Author's Response:

As noted, my guard ferrets would have stopped you, lol. Glad you like the ending.
