Tomorrow Is Too Late by logicallyillogical Rated: ADULT (NC-17) starstarstarstarstar [Reviews - 10]
Summary:

(A sort of Star Trek/Battlestar Galactica universe mash-up...definitely Trek, but with a lot of BSG elements.)

This isn't the most convenient time for Spock to fall in love. He's been newly promoted to the position of executive officer on the IAS Enterprise. A war is raging between the Imperial Alliance and the Romulan Star Empire, and the Alliance, led for centuries by the Vulcans, is currently on the losing side. Earth is gone, T'Khasi is gone. And most inconveniently of all, the Viper pilot that he's fallen for is a bit of a problem officer for everyone on the ship.

As much as I gripe about the ending of BSG, I still enjoyed that series very much. I never thought to combine star trek and BSG together before... but I have to admit this sounds very intersting. I shall be watching.

Author's Response:

I'm with you there -- there was a lot going on in the last two seasons of BSG that made me scratch my head too. But the universe itself I find quite compelling, and I thought it might be fun to borrow some elements from BSG (a hopeless, ending war; military organization; combat styles) and swirl them together in a Star Trek universe. It feels like the divergent paths of the two universes are coming back together, full circle style: Ron Moore, writer and producer of BSG, got his start writing tv scripts for Next Generation and Deep Space Nine.

I hope that it continues to prove intriguing for you.

The Ark and The Desert by dreamwind Rated: ADULT (NC-17) starstarstarhalf-star [Reviews - 3]
Summary:

Unable to handle another devastating war the Wizarding communities from around the world pull together and enlist the aid of the Muggleborn’s families to launch themselves into space. Settling on a new planet is harder then it seems, especially when they find they are not the only ones wanting to claim it as their own. [James Kirk/Spock/Harry Potter] [Sarek/Severus Snape]

Enjoying the story so far. At first, I wasn't sure about an Harry Potter/Star trek crossover as it seemed cracky... but this is actually surprisingly well done. :)

very curious to see where you will take this.

Favorite Time of Day--TOS by CMM Rated: ADULT (NC-17) starstarstarstarhalf-star [Reviews - 14]
Summary:

A few weeks back a wrote a story "Favorite Time of Day" which received an enthuiastic reception. Someone suggested I do a TOS version. In addition, people have been pleading with me for Spock to find Kirk in the Nexus. This stroy takes care of both requests.

Never Let Me Go by CMM Rated: ADULT (NC-17) starstarstarstarstar [Reviews - 88]
Summary:

Oh, crap; I did it again. I need to quit browsing the Challenges page. I picked up this challnege of the same name, which goes like this:

Jim Kirk never went to Starfleet, instead he finds himself in San Francisco trying to earn enough to live, but *gasp* he's pregnant with a child he has no means of supporting.

Whether the conception of the child was consensual or not can be up to you, but the point is that though Jim WANTS to keep it, he is unable.

Cue the wealthy diplomat’s son Spock of Vulcan and his gorgeous lover Nyota Uhura who are looking to adopt.

I would like to see a slowly developing relationship between James and Spock as the Vulcan slowly realizes that Jim is desperate to keep the child but unable. Would like to see lots of hurt/comfort as they slowly gain trust and later love.

I will "tweak" this some, because I always do. Get ready for Juno in Space, folks!

I would probably make Uhura non-bitchy... however she could end up being self-centered or something like that. Sometimes people do change over time... Uhura and Spock could have been such a perfect fit at academy but then no longer became a perfect fit when the two of them evolved beyond being in the fleet. It would be a sad fact of life for the two of them, but understandable enough that the two of them might have a seperation.

Author's Response:

Yeah, actually, you're kind of heading my direction. I think Uhura is going to discover it was one thing to be dating the second son, another to be the consort of the future Head of House.
