born November 25, 1955, trekker since September 1966, even then noticed something really unique and wonderful going on between Kirk and Spock, but was too young too identify it, later it came to me in a blinding flash of insight, back when I was in college and all growed-up (more or less); K/S writer since 1986 but had no idea fanzines existed, had no idea my "vision" had a name or a specific genre, discovered Paradise online in 2007 and have been flying high ever since, as both reader and writer. Life is good.

This poem is epic...simply epic, and I for one, miss your work, Kira...and wish you well, wherever you are and whatever new worlds of writing fiction you are currently exploring! This poem caught me right in the throat...but I cherish that lump!

I swear I've read this story at least a dozen times! It was the fifth K/S story I'd ever read four years back when I first discovered K/S and the archive...blistering, searing, way too hot and way, way too delightful!

What a beautiful story! The pacing was flawless, and the entire scenario credible. Stories like this deserve to be read again and again...which I shall now dive in for a second helping, myself!
Just finished, took me less than six hours to sail right through, could not put it down! Which is typical whenever I read any of your incredibly well-written work! I had the pleasure of reading it in BD#6, and drooling over the gorgeous artwork. What a fabulous experience...felt like an episode, felt like the movie (TMP), felt like I was right THERE, at the farm, with the conversations between Jim and Bones...brilliant by leaps and turns.
Kirk and Spock decide to use the rumor that they are lovers to discourage crewmembers from making a play for either of them. Originally published in 1994 in the print fanzine Matter/Antimatter # 11.
Grasping Kirk's head in both big hands, Spock utilized every scrap of skill he possessed to strip Kirk's senses from him while greedily drinking of the sweet coolness of the surprise-slackened lips. Sanity returned with the sound of Kirk's deep-throated, muffled groan and the sliding caress of strong fingers down his back. He tore his mouth away and took two stumbling steps back, frantically ordering his body back under his control and his face to impassivity.
This is the scene that undid me completely!!! Wonderful, wonderful and way too hot! Stripped him of his sense alright---well, heck YEAH! Great story, just perfect for a rainy Saturday afternoon, like this one! Begs to be read again and again---and again!

This story was one of the first K/S I ever read...way back in '07...loved it then and love even more now...your characterization of older yet not necessarily more mellow Kirk is so spot-on and resonating...here we see Spock precisely as he was shown to us in the films, post-Fal-tor-Pan, the way I always imagined he become once he'd grown past the rigors of re-fusion and intergrated himself completely with Jim...delightful and delicous and the issues this piece touches upon moved me greatly, both then as well as now. In fact, especially now. Great job, great story!

Jim realizes he cannot deny his feelings for Spock ever since the event on Psi 2000. But Spock himself has feelings for Jim. Somehow Spock keeps seeing images of someone he knows but doesn't in the form of nightmares.
Will he able to understand what those images mean or will it be too late?
Relationships are so difficult to understand, and enjoy. You've done a very good job here of conveying just how arduous it must be for someone like Spock to come to terms with that complexity. Very insightful, as always!
Whoa! This is probably one of the MOST extraordianry and absolutely HOT stories I've read in a long, long time, and having been into this fandom for the past four years, I've surely read close to 1,000! I love the analingus scene, perfectly drawn, exquisitely narrated, and WOW! This is such a sweet and wonderful read! I also read The Prometheus Design, have read it several times and loved it plenty! And I, too, noted the subtextual slashiness, so glad you extended that portion and created this marvelous story based on what you perceived....thank you for posting it, very enjoyable. The Designers surely deserve at least a litle bit of the credit, just as you note at the story's conclusion....well, well done! (PS, I actually have a CGA manip that very nicely shows some of that kind of very beautiful and extremely erotic action that you describe here at the beginning of the story...)
This is a response to smokeySpock's Discovery challenge, which requested that Kirk and Spock be captured and informed that they must put on a sex show for an alien. Neither one of them had thought of the other that way before, but if they don't perform, they'll be handed over to the Romulans, who as we all know have pending death sentences on both our heroes. Since they have to perform well, they're going to need to practice...
I do not know who invented the concept of "chensei," but I borrowed them for Spock's anatomy in this piece. My thanks to the original creator, and I promise to rinse them off and put them back where I found them.
