This is so great.  The outside perspective works really well, believably developing both a complex character and his world while also providing this gorgeously-done window to Kirk and Spock and the unbreakable intimacy between them.  There's such a great feeling of inherent dignity to both of them here, and I love how tied up it is in the way that Stefhan just can't touch Kirk (emotionally) where it really matters--whatever he does to Kirk's body, Kirk's heart's already spoken for and his sense of self is firmly under his control.  And the mutual protectiveness between Kirk and Spock is lovely.  Just excellent all around.

This is so amazingly funny and delightful and then just swings hard into both serious, beautifully-expressed regard and heart-wringing admission of feelings.  Totally perfect.

This is just lovely.  The ritual is gorgeously described and feels real and believably moving--what a beautiful way to acknowledge and remember Sam.  And Spock's warmth here, and his desire to help Jim out of all this, is so sweet.  Jim's memories of his past Christmases with Sam and of his brother generally make him so vivid to me... to the point where I feel like I'm also now sad about him being gone, however happy I am that Spock and Jim have this new tradition to remember him.  Just beautiful and quietly romantic and full of well-developed pathos.

This was one of the first K/S stories I read, and I keep coming back to it because it's just so gloriously nuanced, in character, subtle, tense, and swoonworthily romantic.  The blend of intimacy and circumspection in their earlier letters is just incredibly well-done, and I love watching the circumspection gradually fall away--Jim's "God, I need to see you so badly I can taste it" just hits squarely in my heart.  I love all this to pieces and will just be forever grateful it exists.

I really adore this.  The xeno aspect works so well--Spock's genitalia here is genuinely alien and believably off-putting to a human at first glance/taste, but the way they work through it is so sweet and sexy.  (And I love Kirk gambling--successfully--on Spock having also found human equipment ridiculous at first.)  It's just really intensely romantic sex, where the sexiness is so rooted in making this particular person whom you love feel good, and experiencing them on this level, and it's just... 100% the loveliest fic with tentacle genitalia that I've ever read.  Adorable, hot, and moving.

This is exactly the right kind of bittersweet heartbreak, and I love it so much.  I love how the reassurance for the readers--it's okay, you're definitely soulmates, he's coming back!--is undercut by the remidner of Kirk's death after that, with the perfect pathos of those particular last words.  Really beautiful.

This is absolutely adorable.  Such a great premise, and I love McCoy's total fed-up-edness at the beginning: amazing.  The whole thing is just so funny and so romantic.

“Whatever. As long as your mouth hits mine in the next ten seconds, I don’t care who I have to misquote.”

So much of this just has me grinning ear to ear, but that's definitely a favorite part.  (Plus, I'm with Kirk, I'm going to continue thinking of "kiss me, Hardy" as Nelson's last words.  Much better.)  I love this so much.

I really love this.  The setup with Premier Kel just feels so perfectly TOS, with his arrogance and the careful ethical debate that then escalates horribly--and delightfully, for the reader--into this high-takes personal admission.  The feeling of Kirk being exhausted from pining and then utterly horrified and humiliated by being forced to admit his feelings in front of everyone is just so great, and I adored Spock going all pre-Reform on Premier Kel for it and the crew universally supporting them.  And then the ending--both as far as the resolution with Kel and the kiss goes--is amazing.  Just a perfect blend of hurt/comfort and intergalactic dealings and romance.
