Chapter 1: Chapter 1
This... was.... beautiful....
I'm a fairly emotional person to begin with, but I never find myself crying from reading. ...... Needless to say I cried during this.
When I heard that Leonard Nimoy died I went out for a drive and cried. I pulled over and watched the stars (which is a horrible thing to do in the winter in canada late at night!) But watching the stars is such a beautiful thing to do, and picturing Jim and Spock's first truly intimate encounter undertneath the stars rather than among them really really makes me smile <3 <3
As well, Jim teaching Spock to swim, and just how you handled their characters over all was AMAZING!! I fan girled so hard at some parts.
UGH!!! I could literally rant on and on about this story FOR EVER!!! You did such a marvelous job!!! I want to share it with everybody! Thank you so much for writing it. SO well written and such a remarkable tribute. You deserve a million gold stars for this <3
Live Long and Prosper friend. <3 <3 <3 Author's Response:
I've been hemming and hawing forever over just the right response to give you to express my own gratitude for this beautiful review. I still haven't come upon the right words, but it's been too long to remain silent now. In any case, I do hope the story brought you a little bit of peace after his death as writing it did for me.
