Summary: After the battle, Kirk send Pike on a shuttle to earth asap while the Enterprise takes a slower route to pick up survivors and Spock Prime. Kirk uses skills learned on Tarsus IV to help children etc. with trauma and loss. Gaila lives and is a Big Damn Hero. Spock is jealous of Gaila and Kirk sharing is mind with others. When they get back to earth, Spock is repped for assaulting Kirk, abandoning him, and putting Uhura on Enterprise due to favouritism. Pike's original best pick is assigned to Enterprise for the 5YM and Uhura is reprimanded for abandoning post, etc. and assigned elsewhere as Ensign. Comm. Officers are supposed to be perceptive and in 3 yrs she didn't see Kirk's potential and was off base with Spock - which is why Pike didn't pick her. Spock is Lieu Comdr or Lieu. Chekhov and Gaila are Lieus, Scotty and Bones are Comdrs, and they receive medals etc. Spock now has alot to think about - how will his relationship with Kirk build through the first missions? Virgin!Spock. Bottom!Spock. Bonus - Kirk stays in touch with Vulcans and is a bit of a hero with power. Bonus 2 - smart!Kirk. Bonus 3 - 7 - allergies, hurt!Kirk, alcohol contest/drunk with Bones, (past?) affair with Gary Mitchell, interaction with Kor from TOS (Kor desires Kirk, maybe they have rough!sex?). The Empire ends up fearing Kirk. Superbonus - Kirk meets the Romulan Commander outside of battle and gains the respect of the empire. Maybe they have a mutual attraction? Or father/son.

Summary: Inspired by the horrific true story of Duston Paxton's victim - Calgary, Alberta. It is said victim was about 200 lbs and healthy b4 mtg Paxton. After 2 yrs of alleged daily physical, mental, and sexual assault, the victim fell into a coma and docs says he looks like an end stage cancer victim (less than 90lbs, bruises, etc). Paxton is said to have controlled every aspect of life - eating, sleeping, and kept him imprisoned and inflicted brain damage. Trial is currently ongoing - google for more info. CHALLENGE- Kirk had a crappy, abusive and neglectful childhood with Winona and Frank. He raised himself by reading books - that's partly how he learned to be a hero and a gentleman. He gets sent to Tarsus IV after he wrecks the corvette. He is overlooked on Tarsus, but meets everyone, learns the city and skills from different people - learns their stories. Meets Sato and learns about Vulcan language etc from her. The famine comes. Please write about Tarsus IV in detail, not just one paragraph. Your choice - does Kirk save Sato? She could take care of the kids while he's out. Kirk saves a bunch of kids, gets food, but ends up having to sell his body, fight and kill. Survival isn't as easy as some stories make out - even starting a fire is really difficult if you don't have seasoned wood. The cold and hunger wears away at humanity. Kirk is in Kodos's inner sanctum and used that to gather information and help ppl. Kirk ends up being Kodos' no. 1 enemy bc he betrayed him. When Starfleet comes he refuses to left down his guard and confide in them, even though he wanted comfort and love like he had given 'his kids'. Starfleet separates everyone and won't let Kirk see his kids b/c it's not healthy, but it adds to Kirk's trauma b/c they're his. He leaves Starfleet Med (he's maybe 15 by now?) and goes to a big city to make it on his own and to leave his past. He has big dreams but not much cash and gets involved with his partner who abuses him and keeps him in captivity for 2 yrs. He gets dumped beside a hospital and Bones is one of his caregivers. Bones is the only person he trusts for years. He touched him with kindness and that is what destroyed Jim's walls and got him crying. Please elucidate the difference between abuse and bdsm. Subs have lots of inner strength and courage to trust and endure fear and pain. Doms must be worthy of trust and their job is to care for their subs, understand their needs and meet them. It's a very demanding job, done with affection. Kirk gets better physically and drinks, fights, and has sex until Pike recruits him as in the movie. One of his one night stands was Carol Marcus and it hurt him badly to be denied access to his kid but he agreed it was for the best. Kirk doesn't sign up for SF because of his blatant manipulation, bt because it was his only chance for a future. Kirk hacks his file and makes sure his past is 'clean' so he'll pass the psych. The movie happens. Spock doesn't put Uhura on the Enterprise but Gaila sneaks on with Kirk so she backs up his story. After the battle, and in the first missions, the trauma comes back to Kirk and he's terrified of Spock b/c he strangled him. Kodos resurfaces and it all comes to a head. What happens with Kodos!!?? Spock must be loving, caring and possessive/protective of Kirk but not domineering or controlling. Virgin!Spock. Bottom!Spock. Bonus - Kirk is really cuddly with Bones b/c he needs it. Jealous Spock. Kirk thinks of his crew as his kids, too. Bonus 2 - Kirk and Chekhov friendship or sweathearts. Bonus 3 - smart!Kirk. Supermillion bonus - after Kodos is gone and Kirk is involved with Spock, Kirk comes across Botany Bay (Khan). What does he do to save Spock? Shoot it out of the sky? Bring it in and sabatage the air? Bonus - Kirk has an eating disorder - it takes an incredible amount of will power not to eat alot. He's often mentally craving food. He is obsessed with working out and being smarter than others so he won't be vulnerable again - that's how he got through the Academy. EXTRA - after everything Kirk's been through, he doesn't trust authority and after reuniting with 'his kids' from Tarsus after Kodos resurfaces he decides to put together a 'Black Guard' sqaud that develops into an organization. He starts with the 'kids' who are ultra loyal to him and the more people he meets/saves, the more he recruits. They do things Starfleet won or can't. Spock doesn't know at first and is jealous of his friendship with his other second in command . Kirk or his code name becomes no. 1 enemy of the Klingon Empire (I like his chemistry with Kor). Would be fun if he has to meet someone as both Kirk and Black Guard at the same time! Would be awesome if he like made peace with the Romulans w/o SF (the Romanulan Commander and his friend/lover!) or did some other huge thing. Maybe Gaila is his 2iC? Maybe Chekhov knows and helps like Nikita and Burkoff?

Summary: Jim lives through Tarsus because some energy form attaches itself to him. It was in a sort of stasis for a long time but attached/psychially bonded to Jim and drawing off his life force, it is 'alive' again. It sends Jim information, images, visions, views into others minds, etc. For example, it shows Jim where and how to get food, how to avoid capture, people's true thoughts and deceptions and past actions, etc - wherever your imagination takes you. The draw back is Jim's fear and their mutual lack of understanding. They have to learn how to communicate even though they're psychically bonded and the energy see Jim's thought's, they are two radically different life forms and have different ideas and views. This may lead to Jim geting captured, etc. As Jim grows, he dreams and 'sees' amazing things... Other worlds, beings, things he doesn't understand, and he can see energy - earth energy, divas, etc. He records his experiences. When the Enterprise is in it's first few months in space, the symbiote notifies Jim that his son is very near death and that Jim can save him if the symbiote transfers his life energy. As usual, Jim is in pain and almost dies. Bonus points if this happens on the bridge during an attack. What does Jim do? How does Spock react? In exchange for the symbiote having risked it's life, Jim must help it 'procreate'. Maybe it wants to use Spock's energy and have it's 'clone' float off into space. Maybe the new symbiote will need to join with Jim's kid or Spock?? Your choice how it plays out. Double bonus points if Jim didn't know about his kid (super bonus points if it's a girl and boy twins blonde and blue eyed looking like Jim!) and maybe the mother's neglectful and it reminds Jim of his own childhood and he brings the kids aboard the Enterprise. I see the kids as being about a year old. Author should explore Spock reactions, and what is this energy? A ghost of a long dead alien? A normal form of an unknown alien? The last of it's kind? How does it impact Kirk's command and success? Will it leave him when he and Spock bond? Will it create a Spock/Jim baby because it wants to be helpful and make more vulcans? What if Jim's captured by aliens? How can the symbiote help? Sacrifice itself? ... Actually what does Jim call the symbiote? Can the symbiote help the vulcan people? Can it bring Prime!Kirk through a worm hole? Must have hurt!Jim, bottom!Spock, virgin!Spock, possessive/protective!Spock and some super!Jim. No Uhura/Spock past or present.

Summary: Ok guys, for serious now - we NEED an *epic* winged!Kirk. I would suggest outlining your own fc before reading Western Skies (100k plus, found at fanfiction.net and ao3 - K/M at the end) and remixing it. This fic is amazing! They gave Kirk wings based on the idea that Xmen 3 had ended differently and humanity's x-gene was forever surpressed (although they later realised it was the next step in evolution). Jim's was activated due to his birth in space with all the weird ion radiation from an alien ship from the future. This fic includes references to Tarsus (but please expand on the implications and fallout and events of tarsus iv - everyone knows what a tarsus whore i am!). In this fic it occured before Jim was 11. At age 11, Jim sprouts wings and Winona... Wow... I won't even spoil what Winona did... It was too powerful and horrifying (please inclde your own version in the remix!). In the original, Pike raises Jim (I think it's cool that Jim lives and learns on a spaceship for years!). The is Pike/Archer friendship and ust (Archer et al we reaged to about 10 years older than Pike). Up to remixer whether Pike raises Jim.... Maybe Sarek meets him at Tarsus and dcides to bring him home (what do the vulcan kids think of the wings? Maybe prereform vulcan has a legend about a winged figure?) Or maybe Old!Spock gets there earlier, or something else (another mutant??? Erik/Magneto? Rogue? A character from another fandom? Snape? Superman/Clark? Merlin? The sky's the limit!). Also up to remixer whether they re-age or include Archer. Pike hides Jim's wings to give him a normal childhood as he would be the first human in centuries to have an active x-gene and he would be experimented on. Also, due to the eugenics wars, he would be discriminated against. Jim wears a painful harness (so sad!) and everyone hates him becuase he looks like he's physically deformed - something that was almost unheard of (poor Jim!). Jim's supersmart, an amazing singer, and must fly every once in a while or get irritable and aggressive... His mind literally has some different than human instincts.... What other ones will the remixer give him? He joins Starfleet and Gaila and Bones are awesome. The movie happens, Jim saves Earth (will the remixer also save Vulcan and/or Amanda?). The wings are revealed..... And it's just so much like the ugly duckling.... Incredible! Where once he was reviled and mocked, now he's seen as an angel (and his feathers are plucked for good luck tokens! Ow, yet, lol!) There is incredible imagery throughout. Recommended that the remixer gets an idea of what their own Jim's wings look like before reading.... The colours are so cool once you read it :). There are so many great scenes in this story to be remixed, guys! Jim's relationship with touch and trust, the image of a sleeping angel perched at the bedside of an injured man (Jim can sleep perched on his feet!), Jim flying around with a blowtorch fixing the ceiling, being mistaken for an animal and shot and trying to heal himself, Jim almost accused of being a sociopath because he didn't experience fear while space jumping, Jim stepping off the Enterprise a hero into a bunch of reporters and Starfleet Command who see his winged visage for the first time... So many places this can go! Was wings the extent of his mutation? Maybe he has a cat or lizard tail and can breathe underwater??? Commonality with Spock... They are both literally unique for their species. What if Jim had had wings during Tarsus? What about wing!sex? With Gaila, Spock etc. What will the enemy (Klingons?) think if surprised by his abilities during conflict? What if it remains a secret? What if only the loyal Tarsus kids knew about the wings... And Kodos... What did Kodos want/do???? How does the BIG REVEAL go? What does Spock Prime say? What if Jim had met Spock earlier, before Kobyashi? Virgin!Spock please! Bonus - I love smart!kirk... Maybe he writes papers about what happened to him... His thoughts, maybe he is artistic/musical... He does see things in a different way afterall. If you don't want to remix this, maybe you can be inspired by it. Bonus - Kirk and Chehov have some kind of experience. Super Bonus - kirk's kids have abilities (top!kirk)... Can be with a woman... Gaila? (i've never read any gaila x kirk kids! They would be so pretty/awesome/smart! Please???) Carol Marcus? Both? Or mpreg... Spock! (for some reason i'm picturing Spock having a litter). Tl,dr - kirk wing fic - GO!

Summary: A long long time ago I remember the TOS K/S fandom having a Grapefruit challenge.. I think Shatner had done some kind of seductive recording.... Basically - have nu!Kirk seduce (quasi) inanimate objects... And thereby seduce the bystanders/evesdroppers. Could be a oneshot, could be a scene incorporated into your current/other fic, could be a 5 and 1 - 5 times Kirk seduced an inanimate object and one time with Spock. Spock should be aware of/present during all events (and jealous). I'm picturing Kirk seducing his breakfast to the horror/lust of Bones and others (and Bones decides to let him eat whatever he wants); maybe Kirk seduces (an alien?) technology into doing what he wants it to do; a bathleth while at a diplomatic conference while surrounded by (now lust-striken) Klingons; the Teachings of Surak text while at New Vulcan surrounded by Vulcans.... Including Sarek; the.. Camera... Or something, while on-air to the entire Federation; a torture device or slug or something while being held by Cardassians; A plant... That had the enterprise etc under it's influence... Maybe the plant falls under Kirk's influence and releases the crew or maybe the crew are just drawn to Kirk's charisma and forget the plant's effects; Kirk does something and henceforth a previously hostile world worships kirk as god; kirk plays an instrument/sings/poetry/something and seduces Apollo; kirk does something totally nonsexual and seduces/impresses the Q; kirk sends out a subspace message to someone and his voice attracts the attention of a huge space energy entity which follows the Enterprise for a while and then has a baby while listening to his voice/using his energy; kirk seduces the borg/queen or time travelling Seven of Nine (ooooh het sex!) - I've never seen that pairing! other ideas... That bomb thing from TOS that was Kirk and Spock's 'kid'. Tribbles! Kirk has Pike as an audience during one of his... Events. Something involving one of the other aliens from TOS. **it is highly recommended that you read/listen to the original Grapefruit challenge responses, otherwise you won't really understand - if anyone has links to them, please comment!!! I think some can be found by google or at the Golden O's or on thyla.com.

Summary: St. Paddy's Day..... My 2 dogs had pups and my cat had kittens.... And the Canada geese out back had goslings. Whoa! Give me a spock!mpreg story... Is he laying an egg? One baby? Multiple? Fecund.... I was at an expo and one booth had prizes for who could tell the origins of the word 'fuck'. I knew what they wanted to hear - that it was the initials of a plate put on the door of newlyweds - 'fornification under consent of the king', but some people say that the word 'forinicate' wasn't around then or wouldn't have been used. I kinda think the words fecund amd fuck are related somehow. Please include some form of the work 'fecund' in the fic.

Summary: A Reboot fic inspired by the TOS episode in which touching a Troyius woman's tears causes a man to love her deeply. I don't want a rebbot retelling of the episode - that would be a little boring. This challenge is to write a different story with Jim in love against his will. Please include scenes where he's torn betwee his love and the ship, crew, Bones, Spock. I'm a sucker for hurt!Jim so I would love it if there was no cure... Can be established relationship or first time - how does Kirk resume or start being with Spock despite the pain of a lost love? Note: does not have to be Elaan/tears.. It could be something else that causes it - pollen? This is a reoccuring theme for Kirk - the Amerindians and his wife and lost child, The Guardian of Forever and having to let the woman he loves die.... The robot woman who Spock erased from Kirk's mind. The woman can leave him or die/be killed.

Summary: As the title says, Kirk saved Gaila from slavery and then Gaila left to build a life of her own with her own strength and courage. Author's choice why Kirk was in space or whatever to save Gaila. Explore the relationship and connection that caused..... As Kirk must save some other slaves with Gaila's help. Could be a mission, but would prefer it if Kirk is going against orders and going to get in trouble. What are Spock feelings upon learning of what Kirk did and his emotional connection to Gaila? Can be first time or established. Note: part of the Kirk and Gaila connection should be that they were both abused, disempowered, had their choices taken away... (tarsus, stepfather, etc). And now that are fiercely independant, hate slavery/dictatorship, and don't like being told what to do... Which is why Kirk is the only commander who can handle her. Bonus - Uhura gets told off for always looking down on Gaila and thinking her a whore. Should explore Orion culture, how it was perverted and how Gaila years to express her affection physically - and Jim eats that up. Basically BAMF!Gaila. Jealous!Spock
Categories: None Characters: None
Summary: I haven't seen many ghost/halloween/scary stories in this fandom. Gore and horror not necessary. Happy ending a MUST. Scare me! Ghosts, supernatural, whatever. K/S, of course - your choice what stage of a relationship they're in. Bonus if Kirk thinks he's going crazy, that he's the only on the haunting or whatever is happening to.... He could be waking up sometimes in a mental ward or another reality and not know what is a dream. But Kirk has a strong mind and can over come!
Categories: None Characters: None
Summary: I've seen a lot of Spock being Chekov's mentor, but what about Jim? Two young geniuses.... Both pretty.... Maybe they start playing chess and Spock is surprised by Jim's ability and wishes he could play him. Spock falls in love with Jim over observing his kindness, intelligence, etc in dealing with Chekov.. Make Chekov adore Jim! Maybe Chekov reminds Jim of his Tarsus kids. Bonus - a scene with a Tarsus kids (O'reilly?) and the bridge crew finds out about Tarsus and Jim's actions.
Categories: None Characters: None
Summary: Jim is good with animals -sehlets, dogs, unicorns, horses, whatever... Can be a 5 part thing, one for eac animal. The bridge crew, except Bones is surpises. Spock is enchanted... And drawn to kirk.

Summary: Ok, this can be an au where both meet as little kids and grow up close or it can be an incident wherein both spock and kirk are deaged, they connect with each other, and then kirk re-ages first, goes through angst. Possessive!deaged!Spock is in love with adult Kirk. Either way, Spock is able to tell by Kirk's smell that Kirk is his mate. If the author wants, it can be discovered later that they are the rare thyla. Or at the same time. Jim is insecure. Self hating. Traumatized from tarsus and what he had to do to keep his kids alive. The conflict! Ok, of course Jim loves Spock and doesn't think he's good enough for him. He wants to protect spock and keep him innocent. To take on any pain Spock might have. Young spock is jealous of the many people involved in Jim's life. While jim often feels alone and depressed, the are people that care. Bones, Old Spock, lieutenent gaila, his young son David, his protegee Chekov, JT's kids from tarsus. Even the romulan commander that Jim meets and becomes friends with ala TOS where TOS Jim wishes they had met under different circumstances. Must be virgin spock when he reages. I just love jealous spock through the ages - young, adolesant and adult :) this would probably be a long fic. I want to see the relations and the incredible love and caring, the bond that they have between them. They both have a lot to recover from. Jim's childhood, tarsus, the aftermath of tarsus wherein he loses his mind a bit and sleeps around, the aftermath of the mindmeld with old spock - he remembers TOS and some of the movies... So much loss. The adventure - I would like there to be some sort of 'episode' relating to finding kodos and/or khan. What does Jim do with his knowledge. The adventure shouldn't be primary. The main thing is the feelings and relationship between kirk and spock. Anyway, take what you will from this hurt/comfort prompt and feel free to take from my other challenges!

Summary: Ok, I can admit it. Even when I think Shatner has reached the ultimate Awesome of Awesomeness he does something else that I have to squee about. He has a long time charity for handicapped kids involving horses and he's personally thanking everyone who donates by using his twitter account. MBB. He is performing a really funny sounding sort of autobiography called Shatner World. I really want to see it. Everyone should check out the quotes! William Shatner also made geeks cross the world squee when he contacted Cmdr Chris Hadfield, Canadian Space Engineer WHILE IN SPACE over twitter. If there is only one twitter conversation you ever read it should be Shatner x Hadfield. Shatner Loves Lucy! And tweets her! Tardigrades are an amazing animal that can survive OUTER SPACE, solar radiation, almost absolute zero - 150 degree celcius temperature, dehydration to 1 percent, the lowest depths of the sea. Also, was reading a fic with Kirk being a horse whisper and ended up googling weight of horse heart. Current average is 8.5 lbs and the great Secretariat was 22lbs! Also known as superhearts on the heart score. So take this random info and be inspired. I really want Kirk to have a herd of tardigrades that he raises and maybe is like Shatner, he trains them and plays games with them. Also known as water bears or moss piglets. They're very small so it would be funny if they thought Kirk was crazy and talking to himself.

Summary: I went to catholic schools in canada and we were taught liberal version and historical based info. I recently thought of the phrase "turn the other cheek" and thought it would be a spock thing to do. I always had a bit of a smile when I heard the phrase as contrary to the typical no violence etc interpretation we were taught about the culture. Apparently, by jesus saying that he was being passive aggressive/insulting them/sticking it to them. More info on wikipedia but basically turning the other check would have made the guy use the other hand which was a no-no or the palm of the hand which was an insult to the striker. So it boxed in the aggressor, made him look like a fool, etc. Hard to explain. Challenge is to use this idea of non-violence yet sicking it to them flavour and make spock do it. And kirk know what he's really like or notices spock being like that to someone. Maybe outside observers, uhura, think that he's being calm and non-violent but kirk knows the truth and is knowledgeable about spock/vulcan/body language. No spock/uhura

Summary: Prompt: Kirk and Spock's relationship/love is obsessive and codependent. After all the trauma and loss they've had in their lives and their special th'y'la relationship they can't/won't live without each other. Kirk is the only one who has ever understood Spock (like in TOS). No spock/other, spock/uhura. Bonus: - possessive/jealous spock - tarsus iv mention - other ppl thinking their bond is weird/too strong

Summary: Maybe 5/6+1? Ending of course with K/S Must have Kirk/Khan - may be an AU of the movie, or may disregard the movie all together. The rage/anguish/intensity... Gorgeousness. I haven't seen the movie so I don't know how to promt you better tan that. Maybe a combo of TOS and AOS Khan. -Must have Kirk/Kor (or possibly other Klingon).. But the Kirk - Kor interaction always struck me as a little flirtatious. - Must have Kirk/Romulan (could be the Romulan Commander, Nu-Ayel, Nu-Nero, etc) -let's see, that's three, powerful, intelligent individuals... Spock is seething with jealousy throughout. - 2 other potential lovers/enemies/mental sparring partners.... Carol? Could be AU of her as I don't know the TOS or AOS version. Should be kickass, smart like the others. Pregnancy scare would be a bonus. Cameo of Gaila, showing how she was super smart, sexy, yet powerful, strong and kickass bamf survivor. - I want another alien, like a Cardassian, or even Gorn! Again, esp with the Cardassians, there would be a lot of mental sparring. And alien genitalia! - maybe friendship between Kirk and that freedom fighter from Cloud City... Or some other freedom fighter... - and last but not least - Spock! Pon Farr drives him to mate now that he is finally sexually mature. And after all the others, Spock knows Kirk can handle him! .... As for why Kirk was with others instead of Spock? Spock turned him down originally and Jim was a bit heart broken. Maybe Spock said Jim wasn't good enough. But he meant strong enough for pon farr? Even hurt, Jim kept on living and met the others who thought he was more than good enough! - no uhura, virgin spock til Pon Farr!

Summary: I haven't seen Into Darkness so feel free to base this on 2009 or to include ST:ID or go AU. ---- Prompt: Kirk saw a lot of TOS from the the mind meld with Spock. Kirk got Kirk's POV b/c the originals had melded alot and info was subconsciously shared. Kirk is aware they are th'y'la but doesn't want t get involved as he was aware of all the longing/heartbreak TOS!Kirk went through, and the relationship never really got off the ground. There was always something T'Pring, Vulcan mentality, Leila, snow woman, sky woman, romulan woman, Pike, tribbles, logic, being left for Gol, Arrogant Presumption, Nexus, Picard, dying alone.... Although Nu!Kirk is convinced he'll die alone he doesn't want to long/Pine for someone his whole life. So Spock, who has watched the awesomeness of Kirk, and fallen for him, must convince him to become involved with him. Should involve the normal cliched abandoned!Kirk, sad childhood, fear of being left behind or alone. Bonus: Bonus.. In any form Also, no Uhura.

Summary: I haven't seen st xii so this could be au or fit in some st xii. - story should have some/all suggested below and maybe some other characters that I haven't thought of... It's a great opportunity to have fav characters meet. Death is outside of time in this story. Jim has died for at least a few minutes in real time. But that could amount to untold time in Death. Sort of crossover. 1) Benton Fraser of the RCMP. They are in the cold Winter Wilderness together. Fraser tells Kirk about his love for Victoria. Strange things happen. And some slash. Come on - Paul Gross + Chris Pine = so hot! 2) The Endless. I'm thinking maybe Death and probably Dream (the original). Maybe the Sandman explains that he chose Death over Change? Wikipedia. 3) Merlin. This could be a funny and sad one. Immortal Lord of Time and yet waiting for Arthur. Merlin/Mordred (Love/understanding/hate), and maybe Merlin/Gwaine references.. 4) Kirk Prime. Talks about how he always knew he would die alone. His regrets and longing/pining for Spock for so many years. Risking and sacrificing and giving.... 5) Amanda Grayson? 6) Eroica aka Dorian Red, Earl Of Gloria and the Major - Love/Hate (From Eroica with Love)? 7) Sherlock (from BBC). It turns out they based Khan's intelligence etc on Sherlock, Adler, and Moriatry's genetics. Because of Sherlock's brother (who's high in the secret gov't org), they had lots of samples and then their bodies when they died. What's Sherlock have to say? Bonus for sherlock/moriatry reference. Fascination, obsession. 7) Superman (Smallville early seasons characterizations only). Clark Kent and Lex Luthor; I like the sound of that. Frenemies. Destiny. 8) Vulcans (the leader of Gol, a single thyla from a pair, a pre-reform Vulcan, T'Pring??). Whoever you can think of... What would their discussions be involving the death of Vulcan, what they beleived in life and learned in death? About love, duty, life... 9) Gaila? An old lover? A child that never was? (david?) 10) Q? Being all the 3 ghosts of Christmas + what if xyz did/not happen? Or River Tam (Firefly/Serenity)? Severus from Harry Potter??the possibilities are endless. In the end, Kirk has reflected on his relationship with Spock and the potential with Khan (all that passion and loyalty directed at him versus the betrayals spock has offered).... What the future of either relationship looks like. And makes a choice. - No romantic spock/uhura - could have ambiguous ending. He makes a choice then wakes up/comes back to life type thing.

Summary: SPOILERS BELOW! I haven't seen the movie but have read spoilers. Prompt: Jim was born on a ship into the radiation from space, an anomaly, a ship from the future. His eyes (and what else?) were changed forever. Jim died on his ship by the raditions of his ship. Injected with the altered cells from a genetically advanced human from the past. He is reborn as something changed. Khan came from an era of mutants, Magneto, and genetic manipulation. How has Jim changed? A longer lived superhuman akin to a Vulcan? - Jim realizes that the blood/dna of Khan and his people cannot be trusted with Starfleet for obvious reasons. He rescues them and makes them swear allegiance to him. - will there ever be a mission he has to call upon his army? - Bones was the only doctor willing to work on an extremely radiation filled body with techniques that could get them removed from the medical community. Bones kept Jim's changes secret. - as always, no spock/uhura romance - kirk/spock, kirk/khan - maybe krik doesn't tell spock about releasing khan or the changes in his body? - let the muse take you!

K/s, no uhura, can be reboot 1 or 2 compliant or au. I just want to see some alien physiology. And yes, janetlester on lj is awesome - detachable dick etc. Virgin spock ftw! Esp prior to pon farr. Or can be tos!trek.
