I always feel bad for Spock Prime and I can see what you meant about where the story ended up. But I liked this look at Jim, at how his being ignored would lead to something like that which he would really have no way to understand.

>I think now, the first time since I started reading the genre "literature fans," I understand what this concept called "Angst"
>It was painfully sad.
>I had a sense of betrayal in love is destiny from heaven, even though both were still Jim and Spock ... Is not it strange?
>It was hard to imagine the Ambassador Spock with Jim Young, but I knew that the gap between them, this groundwater, includes all the sadness and loneliness that have accrued over the years - few or many. and >Maybe this  one time, "Grace" was also a fate of Heaven.
>Your story was sensual and thought-provoking.

>a Refreshing

Very good. I liked the concept and I agree with Nyn - you handled it very well. Need a Beta reader?

This is the first young Jim/Elder Spock fiction I've read. And I was SO prepared to be grossed out...but it never came. Hmm...very interesting.

And it was actually very good. Great job! ^_~

Oh, I'm so glad to have found your story. While the new!Kirk/Spock are fun, my heart still belongs to old!Spock and I'm happy to see when he gets a share in the loving.

This was very well exectued, too. There are moral implications to be considered when the ghost of another person and his feelings stands between two people and I found both Spock's recluctance and Jim's stubborn refusal to give in to logic very convincing. This could have ended differently, but I found the solution that they both threw caution to the wind for at least one night (and with a slight hope of more to follow) very satsifactory.

So, good work! :)
