OMG, how could I forget about Patterns of Force? Nekkid Kirk AND Spock! And quite a bit of groping and ogling there, too :-D My IQ went down several points while watching that episode - I probably had a small dribble of drool at the corner of my mouth :-D I didn't remember about that other shirtless scene from (I guess) The Deadly Years).... you just gave me a good incentive to rewatch it :-D

Illogical? I say it's VERY logical that Spock notices Jim's bare chest. After all, I notice it too :-D Jim is aestetically pleasing aaaaaall over :) I mentally thank the Star Tek producers every time Kirk tears his shirt. And Spock has a point that Jim seems to lose his shirt more often when he is there. That scene from Enmy Within - one of my favorite, there was an intimacy to it. In Corbomite Manoeuver, Kirk calls the bridge twice to talk to Spock, both times on video and not bothering to cover himself; the second time, he could have taken 3 seconds to pull his tunic on but no, he called Spock BEFORE pulling it on. And in Shore Leave, Spock was the first person he saw after he tore his shirt - he had to have known Spock would follow him - and we all know the groping that situation led to :-D Too bad you didn't develop this fic a bit more, I'm sure you could have said a lot more on the subject.
Anyway, cute vignette and some nice descriptions, among others about the way Jim's muscles move when he works out and the "golden-haired, hazel-eyed sorcerer". I also liked Spock knowing exactly how many itmes he's repeated to himself "I am to Vulcan". You are right, we wouldn't be able to count but he would do it instinctively. :-D
When I watched that nazi episode I got on my knees and thanked the person iwhose idea it was to have Spock topless. I was still new to K/S fanfic when I wrote this so I was testing the waters. There's also an episode where Kirk gets elderly and in one scene he has his shirt of then too.
