Hucup (deep breath) Peewee...what a night!
I could feel your story in every cell of my body: starting from the brain, through the stomach and ends in my toes.
The writing was fire and brimstone.
It was twitching
Thank you very much.

Not a bad story, but it does lack depth; it feels more like an outline than a fully-fledged fic. You tend to tell rather than take the time to show and become of that the story lacks emotional impact. Sarek's 180 also seemed very sudden and too complete to be realistic. But you had some interesting ideas - the bit with Starfleet sealing up the fact Spock was Sarek's son, for instance, which provides an explanation as to how Kirk could have been unaware of the fact, and Amanda setting up a meeting between her husband and son in the arboretum to try and get them to speak to each other. That's the kind of thing I can perfectly see her doing. Just try digging a little deeper into your character's motivations, have them reflect on their feelings before they act instead of on the fly, and create more scenes that show the changing relationship between them, and your stories will be all the better for it. :)
Thanks for taking the time to review. I didn't even know I had one for some reason I never got the email. I've never been really good at writing smut and this was written just after I got into the fandom. Also I first wrote this in the days before I got a beta reader. As for Sarek I decided nearly dying was the reason for his change.

I never read this one before. So beautifully written. Thanks so much for posting. I love Kirk/Spock their friendship knows no bounds. I like the fact that you place the first intimate scene before the event of the Andorian...Makes me want to imagine that it did happen whenever I watch Journey To Babel again..
Wow another review! I never got the email notification. Glad you enjoyed it. When I saw how SArek treated Spock I wanted a fic where Jim offered Comfort and this fic was born.
