I thank you so much! A story to read from you is how to get home. the year is so terrible and scary. My parents died of Corona in April, after the funerals I had to undergo an unpleasant bowel operation. But even on the day of the operation I read your stories and was able to escape and dream a little, as I did with this story today. I hope you can feel what a gift your writing is for me. stay healthy and dream with us.
OH MY GOD. I'M SO INCREDIBLY SORRY TO HEAR THIS!!! I have not been directly touched by covid yet and count myself so very lucky. I am terribly, terrbily sorry for you. That is truly unimaginable. AND surgery too?! You are a strong person and will come out the other side of this. I am glad to help in some infintesimally small way. I thank goodness for Gene Roddenberry and his thoughtful and GOOD dreams every day--an escape hatch the allows us to continue breathing through this pandemic and the many nightmares that Trump has unleashed upon so many decent beings. Better days are coming--I have faith in our better angels and in SCIENCE.
You have my deepest sympathy. I have been thinking about you all day.

I absolutely loved this story. It seemed completely in character for everyone. McCoy was hilarious! Beautiful!
McCoy is always so much fun to write to. I needed a little levity during this overwhelming and tragically unnecessary chaos. Take care and keep smiling.
