I registered because I found it terribly unfair for this fic to have only 1 review. I read all your fics here, I found them all excellent (I stayed up to 4:30 am the other day, in order to finish the "Attraction"), and this wasn't an exception. I enjoyed the plot, the details about the Caitian species, and the fact it was Rea and not Kirk there with Spock - this could perhaps dissapoint another K/S fan, but I thought it enriched the plot and made it more realistic. If you have more printed fics around, I really hope you'll post them here because reading fics by a talented as well as sensitive author is like a balm to a reader's soul.

Beautifully crafted story. It held me from beginning to end, and I was sorry it had ended. The insights into the levels and workings of the bond between Jim and Spock were much appreciated. The way Kirk realizes he shouldn't try to sway Spock (even if he could) speaks of true love. The Galactic Barrier... quite a trip!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for your comments; I'm glad you enjoyed it! My big challenge in writing this story is, how to write a story that doesn't resolve the unresolvable and still have it be satisfying to readers. From your comments, it looks like I achieved my goal. Thanks again!
