Interesting take on the, still open question: "Why Kol/inahr?"
this timeperiode in the Universe always faszinated me the most.
And it is so much canon K/S.
Kolinahr is mentioned in the first ever Star Trek movie, which I think is a whole lot better than most other people actually say it is - mainly for the K/S resonance in some of the scenes! Kolinahr is the ritual Spock attempts at the beginning of that first ever film, to purge himself of all emotions - and beome one of the Elders/Devoutees on Mount Soleya, who devote themselves to Logic, and the study of it. So, why Kolinahr? Because the first scene sort of got delivered into my brain as taking place between K/S around that era. Thanks xxx
