I always look forward to reading something that has never been brought up. Very interesting. I also enjoy the background stuff you added. Spock with a British accent. I just don't see it. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for reading; I'm glad you enjoyed it. And yeah, I think a British accent might have tipped Spock over the line into seeming too forbidding, at least for North American audiences.

Also enjoyed your AO3 fic you have some unique metaphysical ideas for Fics
Thanks! I'm glad you followed the link and gave "Personal Gods" a chance, even though K-S is a secondary focus in that story, rather than a primary one.
I've been reading science fiction all my life, so wild ideas appeal to me. :-) I can forgive a story a lot if it shows me something NEW.

This is a really good exegesis of the idiom issue. Loved the idea
*smile* Thanks, I'm glad you liked this idea.
Spock knows nearly everything, so it's never really made sense to me that he didn't understand common idioms. Most fanfic authors seem to assume that he pretends to misunderstand idioms for his own private amusement, but he does it at some times -- such as when standing on Kirk's whipped back during "Patterns of Force" -- when it would be cruel to do it for that reason. And because I think about TOS in general and Spock in particular way more than is strictly sane :-D, I had to come up with another reason.

Great story. beautiful...more please.
Thanks, I'm so glad you liked it! I appreciate your taking the time to leave a review.
I could write more about Spock's status as an outsider, but it wouldn't be K-Sish enough to be posted here...
