I has never seen this but. Ever mind gothic it is almost steam punk. It's a labour of love and thanks for posting it

I read this, loved it, then read it again straight away. The plot is ridiculous but amazing, I have to say this is better than the original Gaywyck. This is one of the best stories ever written, I swear.

This is just hilarious. I'm so glad you put it up on the archive! I've wanted to read this ever since I saw the description of the zine. Quoting one of my favorite bits: What exactly was said down there in the quiet peace of Spock's study will always remain a secret, known only to those present (unless someone else wants to write that bit) but two hours later, just as Kirk was swooning away for the nineteenth time and wondering if he could keep it up long enough to gain the pity and comfort he ached for when Spock arrived, the door opened and the Vulcan himself appeared, a soft look of content upon his austere features, his arms held wide to receive the slender body of his love. Banging both sets of knuckles painfully upon the doorposts he swooped down upon the bed and gathered Kirk to him, crooning his name in an ecstasy of happiness. That little authorial aside and the bruised knuckles just crack me the hell up.

Dark, twisted and funny -- to be savoured and reread; just like the gothic classics that inspired it.

Twisted and inspired. A true Gothic gem--from an afcianado of both genres.
