Now at the end I understand always too neutral always circling each other never saying what needed to be said until it was too late

Such a good idea, this series of snapshots taken in the shared bathroom! And well written, too! I'm glad I already know that Spock went to Gol but also came back from there - for Jim.

Wait, did Kirk rape the Yeoman? She didn't seem very happy.

Wow. I've overlooked this piece so many times, thinking it must be plotless bathroom fluff. I read it, now, because a friend recommended it. I didn't even care for it, initially, as I read it - still thinking it would be little more than fluff, but I'm glad I kept reading.

I hope you'll consider revising the summary, even if you just say "a worthy tale." I think you'll get more readers and reviews. Seems a shame to let it go unnoticed.

I've never praised a fic for being sweet and I usually avoid those which others characterize as such, but this was a bitter sweet tale and I applaud you for having the will power (or whatever it was, for you), not to tie it up as most writers would.

Guess I'll go read other fics you've written. Thank You!

This is a lovely collection of vignettes! What a nice idea, having them revolve around Jim and Spock's bathroom...a private place they have to share, used  to show us private, significant moments of their friendship along the years. I love how it starts with the formality of two people newly acquanited, then to concerned friends with a hint of feelings going beyond that, to almost culminate with two rather intimate scenes that DEFINITELY meant something more before the withdrawal of the last scene - a bit sad, but canon. We all wish Kirk said it out loud: "Spock, don't go..." Would it have changed anything? Who knows.

Your writing, pacing, phrasing, etc., are impeccable, by the way, although I wish this fic was much longer :). Now I need to look up your other stories!
