Well, at least Gary's not going to make Jim miserable because of his interest in Spock. Not that Jim will admit it if he knows at all. Sorry if the last sentence didn't make any sense. I love that Gary gets to play match-maker and thus vindicating himself as a good guy gone bad. Feeling sorry for Jim though - thinking hes gone mad.

I really like this story. I liked Gary's character and his and Kirk's relationship - I found it intriguing. Gary often seems to get.. The short end of the stick - I think is the saying? - so I'm glad you're exploring his character and relationship with Jim, and Jim's history at the same time. I like to think of them having been more than friends... And it's nice to read a fic wherein Kirk does love truly, madly, deeply, someone before Spock.
Looking forward to more of this.

Hmm, that's either really sweet or really creepy, Gary. Maybe both. Although I don't think Gary will be thrilled to be replaced. Hopefully he won't do anything to hurt Spock. Can't wait for more!
