I have reread this story so many times and am delighted it is posted here. I am in awe of the writing, so well expressed, so powerfully written. Absolutely beautiful. And even though it isn't a happy ending for K/S, it leaves one with a positive feeling that Kirk made a difference in the life of this Spock.
