This is an exeptionally constructed opening and a great grasp of english. The premise is well constructed and the story well woven. Are you professionally published, if not you could be. This is good, very very good.
Author's Response: This is an exceptionally flattering review. Thank you so, so much! I am not professionally published, but do intend to be eventually. Thank you so much!

Wow! Just Wow! I love your Jim and love his pain. The description of the dream was amazing. I can't wait for the next Chapter.
Author's Response: I love your username! I used to do dressage. Now I'm just a cowboy. Kind of. Anyway, thank you so so much for reading. I'm glad you enjoy kirks pain as much as I do :) I promise more is coming soon!

This was amazing.....such attention to detail...I just wish I could be so descriptive, authors who can do that amaze me...it's like time stands still and you see things in slow motion...you break it down for us...oh the pain....what Jim goes through..it is nothing compared to the pain of loving Spock....love your references to farm life...the smell of things that remind Jim of his past....(I milk cows so this was cool). Bovine urine...lol....
Anyways, I so look forward to your update...well done...
Author's Response: That's so cool you milk cows! I'm obsessed with farm animals. i work on a ranch, too. And glad you're looking forward to the update, it should be coming soon. Thank you!

That was GORGEOUS! A wonderful insight into the Kirk state of mind. He is such a fantastic character to play with. The last line just about killed me! In a good way! :)
Author's Response: Thank you so much!!! He is such a fantastic character. I love him so much. I can imagine him having so much depth, pain, and complexity in addition what they were able to do with him in the show. I hope you keep reading! There's more to come.
