Loved this story the first time i read it months ago and i love it now. I really enjoy that it is entirely from Spock's perspective and how he openly admits to himself that for 30 years he had entirely missed the point of Christmas. I think that Kirk and Spock were kept in character throughout and I enjoyed how easily Kirk seemed to read Spock.
Spock + kids = win! Anyone else sorta want to adopt Peter after his line “Are you hugging like Mom and Dad do?” bwhahaha...
Thank you for this delightful Christmas story!

I think my favorite part was Spock inadvertently giving Jim's family piece of mind when it came to Alan and why he was the way he was. I could imagine Jim explaining that Alan's just like Spock and then when they met Spock Alan's parents being relieved and no longer worried about the quiet nature of their son.
