"Was this lust or love we saw?" Now, honestly: what form could love have in a place like the Mirror Universe where mistrust reigns supremely? I think that the best we can hope for the two of them is, that in the universal constant that is their mutual attraction and their desire for one another, there will eventually surface something new and entirely alien to their world and that this strange, foreign and somewhat shameful thing will keep them from indeed killing each other sooner out later.

Intriguing story and quite...ehem... involving!

Author's Response:

thankee, sai!!  *doffs his hat*  I must commend to you Auntie Ruth's Q/Picard stories on Trekiverse, they gave me the beinnings of my Q characterization, though with considerably greater depth.  Glad you liked it!

(waving hands) "Peewee ... wow, what a savages!" (mumbling to myself) I wish we could stay to the next scene ( Arching my eyebrows) chilling perfect ending line

(I lean my chin on my hands and sigh with pleasure)
"Is not that wonderful the human imagination?
And it can feed him whit so little, and it will give much more? "
This story reminds me why I so love in a great passion for the fans - stories.
Everything, but anything can happen, (clicks fingers) with a little magic.
(clapping) Bravo my friend

Author's Response:

wow, such an effusive comment -- thankee sai!!  we come to serve; 'tis well to succeed!  :)

Love "the boys." Frankly, Picard always struck me as rather sexless, and this piece proves it. If he could keep his little captain in his pants after watching that, it proves he's no Frenchman.

w00t!!  twofers on comments, woohoo!  ;-)>

Dig it, whatcha said about Picard.  Heh heh heh...  (what ever possessed Berman to try passing Patrick Stewart off as French, anyway?  I mean, geez!)

Picard is not alone in finding that fun to watch. I know this is a story I will be returning to when I need something captivating and erotic and mmmm yummy. Gotta love the mirror!verse.

Your prose is exellent, by the way. Usually there are three levels; prose that hinders the story, prose that does not interfere with the story, and prose that enhances the story. Yours is clearly in the last category.

Author's Response:

Thankee kindly, sai!  Yeah, the mirrorverse has *so* many sexy and entertaining possibilities.  Mm, mm, *tasty*.  We all had a lot of fun writing that story -- it's a roundrobin, and I think is listed on Trekiverse as The Small Screen, if I remember correctly.  Glad ye liked it!!

Wow. I've read a lot of your writing, Greywolf, but this is one of your finer erotica pieces. Picard's reactions keep the whole thing fresh and interesting. Q had good taste!

Author's Response:

Yeah, I had a lot of fun writing it.  It's pretty much the logical extension of what we saw in the ep, after all.  No bet that Mirror Kirk spent lots of time spying on Spock...

Greywolf, way too fond of the Mirror Universe
