I had saved this story to my favourites a while ago, having really enjoyed it. However, I recently decided to re-read it, having been bored of the slash which has been recently put onto the comm. I have to say, I was (once again) completely blown away. This is an incredible fic, as it is beautiful, moving and poignant. I love the progression of their relationship, the tension and the inetivable release. Very, very well done.

This was very well-written, but some of Spock's dialogue is a little out of character. I don't think he would use contractions or colloquialisms in his speech at all, even if he were feeling slightly emotional.
