I love this song by Matt Nathanson. It's called Come on Get Higher. Now since I have no clue how to do a Kirk/Spock vid, I really wanted to do a combination ficlet and use some of the lyrics to what Spock Prime wishes he could have once again.

When he sees Jim again in a different universe than his own, does Spock only give him the information he needs Jim to know or does Spock ache to remember his past with Jim, and in doing so, let's nuJim know about it.

Very silly, just popped into my head and I decided to share ^_^

Something happened to Spock on that planet. Kirk's going to find out what. A philosophical take on the meld.

A strange adventure to...planet Earth? Actually, Louisiana to be precise. And the premise? Well, the mecca of the bayou comes to the Enterprise crew. Will the Vamps of Bon Temps create problems for the newly connected possibly about to become more Mr. Spock and Jim? Or will the Trek boys teach them a thing or two? And what impact does this Vamply encounter have on the future of literally everything?

Does not include final season True Blood spoilers, just some characters from the show.

Also, my summaries suck and my need to do this is not open to judgement. I get how ridiculous it is. 

Spock is prepared to fight Jim in his frenzied state.  But now does he really want to? What Spock thinks before they commence the fight to the death.

Spock in the early stages of Pon Farr cannot tell Jim what he is feeling.

Jim doesn't like Spock much and is pretty disappointed because he was looking forward to this epic friendship thing. Spock is just confused. There may be some remaining transference issues from the mind meld on Delta Vega which is really causing issues for Jim. Jim tries to figure out what is actually happening. Things occur to Spock. You have your typical freak outs and misunderstandings and then maybe that epic bond or whatever doesn't seem so impossible afterall.

This happens after The Wrath of Khan, Jim writes a small letter to Spock

or: Redshirts are underappreciated. Spock finds his Captain after a difficult mission. Set sometime after the destruction of Vulcan.

 "Do you ever get the feeling that none of this is real?" Jim asked very quietly. 

"Negative," said Spock, at a normal volume. "At times..." he began. This was difficult for him. There was only one other person whom he had tried to intentionally invite past his shields like this. "At times, it seems as if it is entirely too real, and everything else is a dream, or a holographic recording, or something which happened to another being." He sipped his tea. "It is not logical."
