Sequel to All Along: Fortune. Despite his growing bond with Spock, Jim feels alone in life. The challenges he faces with his mother and Tarsus only seem to confirm this. Can Spock show him how wrong he is?

An AU fic inspired by and extremely loosely based on the 1980s Harve Bennett proposal for a Star Trek movie titled “The Academy Years”. Kirk, in his plebe year, is embroiled in a tempestuous relationship with the volatile Janice Lester and otherwise is completely focused on the upcoming Axanar mission.  Upperclassman Finnegan is doing his best to make Kirk’s life hell. Kirk’s life is complicated enough. Then he meets the only Vulcan at the academy, a man he finds absolutely fascinating - and runs headlong into the one remaining prejudice on Earth - prejudice against aliens.

Academy fic

Kirk gets drunk after failing the Kobayashi Maru for the second time and is somehow roped into helping out with the chess team. Turns out he's helping out the rocking-hot so-off-limits Vulcan professor named Spock. Does Jim have what it takes to win the supposedly un-feeling Vulcan over?

Gary knows everything about Jim, now that he is so powerful. What secret does he know and will Jim believe what Gary tells him?

During his first outing on Earth, Spock meets a young man with more going on than he first realizes.  This story contains mpreg and eventual K/S.

I don't even have to come up with plots anymore; my fans are doing it for me. A reader named Millsey wanted the following:

Kirk meets Spock, massive mutual attraction, nothing new here, could be set in TOS or STXI, no matter. BUT there's one major sticking point: Kirk, although lusting after Spock like hell, is doing his best to suppress his feelings, because he's only ever been with a guy once, when he was 18 and a freshman at Starfleet Academy, and the experience was totally horrendous. And it was, of course, with our dear darling Gary.

Gary, being a total jackass and in his senior year at the time (aged 21), befriends Kirk with the sole intention of bedding him. Maybe he's just jealous of Kirk, and wants to get one over on him. Kirk's only ever been with girls up to that point, and even though he's felt an attraction to men before, has never acted on it. Gary seduces Kirk (maybe deliberately gets him drunk). Needless to say, egomaniac Gary is only interested in getting his own rocks off, so he screws Kirk and ends up hurting him quite badly.

To make matters worse, Gary (being a total asshole, did I mention that??), taunts Kirk afterwards. Kirk is so traumatised by all of this that he (apparently) loses any sexual interest in men. (He can't get any real satisfaction out of being with women, either, poor baby...) But then there's Spock. He starts to fantasise about the Vulcan. Not that he wants to.

In this context, we need a confident, experienced, patient Spock who helps Kirk to get over his shitty first time.

Please note that thanks to Gary (who really is a jerk), there is a date rape in this piece, although I 'softened' it as much as possible.

Academy fic, but also an AU - because nothing ever happens the way it should - wherein James Kirk, prolific bed demon to the sexes, goes on the hunt for true love - or something as close as - by the means of internet dating. 

When Kirk asks Spock to seduce McCoy, it's in everybody's best interest for Spock to succeed. If only McCoy saw it that way.
