I fell in love with Star Trek in 1977 and immediately was drawn to the Kirk/Spock relationship. I soon discovered fanzines, then in early 1978...*K/S* fanzines! Years later I decided to try my hand at writing, and my first story was published in 1995 in the print zine "T'hy'la."
Spock’s pon farr returns while the ship is orbitting Altair 4, and Kirk is unwilling to contemplate Spock turning to a stranger. Originally published in 2002 in the print fanzine First Time # 56.
Follows the events of "Galileo 7". Commissioner Ferris continues to be a problem after the shuttlecraft crew is rescued when he tries to bring Kirk up on charges, convinced that Kirk’s actions were due only to his affection for his first officer

AU. Albion IV was colonized years ago by Humans and Vulcans who rejected technology. Additionally, the Vulcans rejected the teachings of Surak. Kirk, the young son of a Human landowner, meets Spock, one of the impoverished Vulcans who work the land nearby and discovers a friend and more in the quiet young alien. But Kirk’s hopes and plans for their future must deal with mutual prejudice – and the secret Spock has been keeping for years: his uncle’s ongoing sexual abuse.
