Summary: Set a few months into their first mission, the Enterprise is ordered to pick up a Vulcan Healer and transport him to the new colony.  Once there they are scheduled to remain and assist with the early stages of setting up the colony.  Kirk's liaison is his 'old friend' Ambassador Spock, now known as Elder Sepak, who takes the opportunity to help Kirk and Spock become better acquainted.
This story was written between May and July 2009 following the release of the reboot Star Trek movie.

Summary:

Spock's years as a cadet were the worst of his life-- he spent those years homesick, lonely, uncertain if he had made the right decision, terrified that his father would never forgive his choices. The only bright spot came from an unlikely source-- a virtual companion who would tell him anything he wanted to hear for 75 credits an hour.

Jim was too young to be on his own. He was too young to have his own apartment, too young to hold down most jobs. Certainly too young to be selling his services in the sex industry, but no harm done. None of it was real. At least, not until a homesick Vulcan looking for companionship stumbled onto the channel.

What ensued was an addictive, steamy relationship where the lines between fantasy and reality were sometimes blurred beyond recognition. Some parts were painfully real, including the distance that separated them. There was no overcoming that.

At least, not until two weeks into the Enterprise's first five-year mission, Captain Kirk recognizes his First Officer as the client he had fallen in love with when he was just a rebellious teenager. Then it was just an illusion, but now it could be something more.

Summary:

So...I ended being dragged out to the wilderness on an impromtu camping trip this past weekend where I was attacked by tree spiders in the morning, rained on in the after noon and freezing my ass off in a tent at night. It wasn't long before I became inspired--something not uncommon when one is miserable--to write a sixth addition to the Intergalactic Fuck Olympics Series.

In this week's episode, Spock and Jim are forced to camp on an away mission after an ion storm takes out their communicators, phasers and so on. With two feverish crew members huddled in a tent together, Spock is forced to decide between risking a second sexual encounter with Jim or sitting outside their one remaining tent, cold and alone, the fire providing very little warmth indeed.
