A quite avid Spock/Kirk- fan, with a weak spot for Spock/McCoy and Spock/Romulan Commander. I also occasionally read Spock/Chapel, if the author can make it work. Most of my favourite pairings involve Spock, obviousy, though I'm aspiring to write David/Saavik at some point. Favourite characters beside Spock and Kirk are McCoy, Uhura, Saavik and the Romulan Commanders, both the male and the female one.

I love his story, it's beautiful- the emoion, the Kirk-Spock interacion, it's all very well described :)
Jim Kirk had been driving a hovertruck ever since he got kicked out of StarFleet Academy for cheating on the Kobayashi Maru. It wasn't what he'd dreamed of as a boy, but it paid the bills. He didn't really have time for dreams anymore, anyhow.
Then one day this gorgeous Vulcan rent boy walked in and sat down next to him...
I truly enjoyed this story- it kept me up reading all night, I think that pretty much covers it :) Though I'd still like to point out a few things, for example that the description of constantly changing environments and on-road life is very well done as far as I can tell, as is the pacing and characterization. And the sex....! Brain-meltingly hot, simply.

I don't know where this story came from; the first line flew into my brain, and the next thing I knew, I was up at the keyboard at 1 a.m. This is my first threesome (tee, hee), so I hope you enjoy it. Anyone who needs a shower afterwards may send their water bill to me.

Like many Trek fans, I have always loved the story "City on the Edge of Forever." I decided to write a sequel, where Spock attempts to help Jim heal after Edith Keeler's death.
Sweet story, really enjoyed reading it, and great to see Spock get some TLC, too :)
Also happy that you decided to keep Edith and Kirk's romance and use it to create interesting conflict/drama between Kirk and Spock, rather than cop out with something like "Nah, I didn't really love her anyway, I've only ever loved you, Spock- canwehavesexnow?!" Somehow it annoys me when people do that, IMO it cheapens the original story as well as the fic itself, and takes away a degree of believability from Kirk- he's a guy with a big heart, he's allowed to fall in love for real (i.e, not just an infatuation or sexual attraction) multiple times. Humans often do that, doesn't mean his affection for Spock is any lesser once he realizes it may be the love of his life :)
...Sorry about the rant ^^; But, it simply pleases me whenever fanfiction authors allow canon plot elements to remain intact and use them to deepen Kirk and Spock's relation in a beliavable manner as you have done here (could never do that myself, I'm sure), rather than pointlessly trying to explain away other love interests with some half-finished excuse like 'well, I didn't care that much about Edith anyway."
Thanks for the thoughtful review. Yes, I don't think that Kirk loved every woman he was paired with in the TOS universe, but I do think he genuinely loved Edith.
This answers Friktion's "Gotta Luv 'Em aliens" challenge, which asked for an alien Kirk. This one is half-Klingon, half-Betazoid. This is also an answer to a personal request from a reader (yes, like a wedding DJ, I do requests) who wanated a hot fic where a virgin Spock gets introduced to the "pleasures of the flesh" by a pirate Kirk. The whole thing started out as porn, but it turned into a love story with a hint of a plot. Enjoy.
Love this story, I keep returning to it over and over and over- the smoldering sex scenes, the plot, and the alien yet very in character Kirk come together so beautifully :)
...And not quite surprisingly, McCoy is a natural Klingon. :D

I think I pretty much haven't stopped grinning since the first line of this story (okay, with the exception of the arrow incident, of course). Thoroughly enjoyed reading this, it was fun to see Trelane again. He's one of those characters that constantly annoy me, but in a good way that is so much fun- he's like an omnipotent Mudd, kinda. :)
Jim tells the crew to come up with a new tradition for Saint Patrick's day that doesn't involve pinching. Naturally, they come up with something way worse... or could it be better?
Love this- cute story, and fun to read. Love to see Uhura, Chapel and Bones gang up to get Jim and Spock together, and I must say I appreciate the McCoy/Chapel- action as well :)
The Terran Empire responds to a planetary distress signal from Vulcan. Their goal is not to aid, but to enslave the survivors. Captain Pike’s capture leaves his young first officer, James T. Kirk, in command of the ISS Enterprise. As the surviving Vulcans are subdued, one of them catches Kirk’s interest. In that moment, everything changed.
Please, please, please continue this story- I'd really like to see where this is going! :)

Finally, a witness! Chapel saw the smile Spock gave when he realized that Kirk was live at the end of Amok Time. Nobody could say she was happy about it... (Chapel's point of view, set after the end of Amok Time; Chapel/McCoy if you squint).
Like the other reviewer, I too think this is a beliavable, realistic version of how Christine might feel in a situation like this. Well done.
When will there be more? Looks promising so far :)

This is in answer Skutch's An Alien on Earth challenge, which goes like this:
In the 21st century when Earth people are not yet aware of life on other planets, a Vulcan who was sent to study Earth is forced to land because his ship is damaged. He speaks English because Vulcan has been studying Earth for quite some time now. The ship is damaged beyond repair so he manages to destroy it completely (wouldn't want people finding alien spaceships lying around) before he faints. The Vulcan is found by a 18 year old boy who takes him to his apartment (have fun coming up with how he manages to do that). The Vulcan wakes up soon and the boy wants to take a look at his wounds. He is too weak to resist and he fails to push the boy away before he removes his shirt and sees wounds covered with green blood.
I don't want him to accept the fact that the man is an alien too quickly, after all it really would be quite shocking, so please take your time with the story. Feel free to continue any way you think would be best, perhaps change the beginning of the story too, if you'd like.
I'd like to see a strange sort of friendship first evolve slowly, James trying to teach Spock about his culture, Spock having a very hard time understanding certain concepts, Spock finding himself telling James things he should not be telling a human, protecting him from people who cause him harm, etc.
This will probably be a very long fic, and I'm not sure where it's going or who else I'm going to bring in, but....
A couple of points for the sake of clarity:
1. Spock's full Vulcan, not a half-breed (This is AU; I can do tht).
2. Spock does have emotions. His people are strong and stoic, but not particularly repressed. So he may actually smile once in awhile.
Heh, Bones is pretty awesome- well, when isn't he, but I think you know what I mean- in this chapter. I love how you've managed to include the TOS-characters in ways that seem oddly natural to them (Scotty as a dog, for example, fit surprisingly well, as did Uhura as a librarian) and also help further the story (Gary's and Bones' parts in particular, so far). Looking forward to see what will happen when Sulu comes around :)
It's quite fantastic how you manage to make Jim and Spock fall in love with/realize their love for each other in new and interesting ways each time, and even more mind-boggling how you constantly manage to crush at least my heart at some point during the story- great chapter, eagerly looking forward to next =)

On shore leave on Earth, Captain Kirk and Commander Spock disappear during a backpacking trip in the mountains. A month later, Commander Spock is found unconscious and alone in the desert. Despite Starfleet’s hopes that he will lead them to the still missing Captain Kirk, Spock is unable to recall who took them, why they were taken, and why only he was released. Worst of all perhaps, he cannot tell them the location of Captain Kirk, or even if he still lives . . .
I pretty much choked with laughter at McCoy's ad Spock's antics in the morning- for some reaso, that scene takes on a pretty cartoonish look in my mind, have no idea why :D Loving this fic so far, definitely adding it to my faves :)

A nice, bittersweet story. For some reason I particularly liked the part with Picard- and sad as a funeral may be, at least they got it right :J
My only (very nitpicky) remark is the 'Vulcans can't cry' line- perhaps it's something Bones says just 'cause Spock insists that's the case, but it'd seem impractical for a desert-evolved species to lack tear canals since that'd mean they couldn't keep their eyes moist (then again, Vulcans might have some other system, what do I know?) ' ';
Other than that, I have no complains about the quality of the writing itself- I particularly love the "It's the altar on which he built his love"-line, it's such a beautiful description of how fundamental Jim's affection for Spock is :)
Spock almost dies from a Vulcan "flu" and while Kirk nurses his bondmate he deals with running the Enterprise, along with the problems caused by a crewman’s crush on Spock

Love this fic, it was sweet and fluffy without getting too sweet- it had drama, too :) And it's a small thing, but after the Uhura-bashing in nu!Trek-fics and the Chapel-villainizing I've seen in some stories it's a relief to find one where I don't get my 'awwww, Kirk loves Spock'-mood killed by degrading caricatures of other beloved characters flapping about. You allowed Chapel and Uhura to have emotions too, but let them be professional about it and left it at that, and moved on to the important stuff- i.e, lovely K/S-fluff. Will be reading this one anew soon, I think :J
