Fan of Star Trek, or Kirk and Spock, which is the same thing, since I was 14 years old.  I arrived at slash because it seemed like a natural progression, for the episodes where Kirk or Spock had a serious girlfriend that distracted the episode's attention from the important thing, that was their relationship, annoyed me like hell.

I had no choice but conclude that for them to spend 100% of their working and free time together, they had to be *everything* to each other, and that included the third meaning of the word T'hy'la.

Logical conclusion?  For me it was, and I'm very happy about it.
