I've lurked for so long on this archive, I decided that it was time to emerge from the shadows.

I'll certainly get to reviewing some of the fantastic things I've read once or twice, and then the ones I've read a whole lot of times!  It will take a while.  I owe a ton of reviews!

Also, a big thank you to anyone who reads what I write and is kind enough to review.  It means a great deal to me.

Spock is still in a relationship with Uhura when he experiences his first Pon Farr.  At his first officer's request, Kirk diverts the Enterprise to New Vulcan so he can marry T'Pring, who survived Vulcan's destruction.  However, when Spock gets there, he finds his wedding doesn't go according to plan.  This is Pon Farr with a reboot twist.

I just realized that for the countless times I have re-read this story...that I have, to my shame, never commented on it!  For that I apologize.  But, I definitely think you should know that this was one of the very first stories that inspired me to write in this fandom, one of the first I read in the fandom (never mind K/S), and one I repeatedly come back to when I have trouble finding the inspiration to continue writing.  This story showed me what excellent writing is!  So, even though this review is obscenely late, thank you for writing this beautiful, inspiring piece.  I don't think I would have started writing K/S without it. ~ RK

Author's Response:

Reading your comment has made my day!  :-) I'm so happy to know that reading my stories got you writing too!  That's a huge compliment, thank you!  And thank you for your lovely words about my writing - I constantly doubt myself, so you saying that is really lovely and reassuring.  I really appreciate you leaving your feedback - it means a lot to me. ♥

Now all done!!!!

For those of you who wanted a longer story, here you go. This will be on-going; I'll try to have a new chapter up every couple of days. For those of you who wanted me to do a pregnancy fic, here you go. And for those of you--like me--who are tired of Jim always being the one who gets knocked-up, this time Spock's the mama. Enjoy.

Usually, I'm too lazy to sign in to leave a review these days, but after this chapter... *stares with teary eyes*  It was lovely, and heartbreaking all at once.  I had a feeling you would cover this, but...ugh!  The addition of Kirk!Prime in that last scene was so lovely.  (Nice you added M'Benga in there.  For some reason, I like him a lot!)  But, the highlight - other than that last heartwrenching scene with Selik - was that Jim considers him his father.  That was just... *stares, still teary*  I promise to be a better reader and leave reviews better!

Author's Response:

Thank you very much. I consider it a compliment if I can make someone review who usually doesn't do so.

(I'm the worst reader/reviewer ever!)  I smiled my face off the last three chapters!  D'awww!!!!  This raised the adorable level in every way!  T'Lira's thoughts and ramblings were far too cute to even try to describe!  Jim with two bossy Vulcans is precious.  Yay that Wesley got redeemed a little there - poor boy had to have something (besides escaping Starfleet) work out for him!  Agh!  T'Lira sounds tooth-achingly adorable - between her blonde hair and blue eyes and with Vulcan eyebrows and pointy ears!!!  AGH!  Okay...Done squeeing.  LOVE THIS STORY!  That's all I can really say.  I love this story! ~ RK

Author's Response:

TYVM. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yes, Wesley is finally redeemed (not to mention part-owner of a dilithium mine) and T'Lira is here and about to run Jim and Spock's life, lol.

I've lurked on livejournal with this story and find myself constantly going back to it.  Sufficing to say I love this story!  Love Spock's reactions when everything starts to make sense and he realizes exactly what he's been doing to Jim.  Loved Jim's reaction when Uhura gave him the message, and Spock's reaction to Jim's drastic measures!  But my favorite thing about this whole thing is the relationship you have here between Jim and Bones - especially his nicknames for Jim ("darlin'" and "sugar" are my faves).  Just "awww, Bones!"  I just love this story!  Had to review when I saw it here!  Thanks for this awesomely written, emotional work!  Can't say "I love this story" more. ~ RK

This was so fun to read!  Loved Spock confusing his words (I won't put my favorites in here, because there are way too many, but I almost choked on my tea at "bread" vs. "bed!"  Haha!).  It made him all that much more adorable.  Obviously Jim thought so too in a way.  The cuddling with the blanket was too cute, too.  I enjoy so many of your stories!  Looking forward to the next thing!  ~ RK

Accidentally in Love by CMM Rated: ADULT (NC-17) starstarstarstarstar [Reviews - 502]
Summary:

DONE!!!!!

Since I did a pregnant Spock, it only seems fair that Jim get equal time. This is an answer to KrazieKat2009's Baby Maker challenge, which goes like this:

Summary: Features preggers!Kirk. I would like for Spock to still be in a relationship with Uhura at start of story. And Jim has secretly been in love with his First Officer for the past year. No one knows of his attraction to Spock, not even Bones. (Though he can be suspicious if you want). During a scout out on a once technologically advanced planet, Spock and Kirk stumble across an old, left behind piece of technology. The technology feeds off of emotional energy to create new life; it senses Jim's utmost desires to be with Spock, and so it activates and causes Jim to be impregnated, with Spock as his child's DNA "donor". Neither Jim or Spock are aware that Jim has been impregnated at first, but soon they become aware. Another side effect of the machine is that it causes the pregnant person to become more dependent on the one s/he has feelings for, so Jim's attraction magnifies, and it takes all he can not to let Spock find out. BONUS POINTS: If Spock, at first, wants nothing to do with the baby because he is with Uhura, but his paternal instincts start to kick in and his attraction to Kirk grows intensely. BONUS POINTS: If Uhura turns out to be mature in the end and wants Spock and Kirk to be together.SUPER BONUS POINTS: Spock becomes possessive over pregnant!Kirk, and finds his pregnant Captain sexually tempting, and gets aroused constantly when near Kirk. MEGA SUPER POINTS: There is eventual (lot of) pregnant sex, and Kirk is a "virgin" when it comes to men. TROPE: Bottom!Jim

Whew! I don't know if I can get all that into one story, but I'll do my best. I'll try to have a chapter up every day or two. Enjoy.

Look at this!  I go away from the internet for a little while and this story's been updated like mad!  I read about 5 or 6 chapters all in one go.  This story is so awesome!  I love it.  (I almost squeed to myself when you had Jim being allergic to peanuts, because I wrote a little story about that!  HA!)  This is such an interesting concept, and as usual I really enjoy your characterizations of everyone.  I hope Jim starts to believe that Spock is starting (or at least it sure seems like he's starting) to care about him, and that he won't just drop him when the baby arrives.  By the way, my vote is twins.  That'd be amazing, particularly, one of each gender!  Awww....Looking forward to more! ~ RK

Yeah, I'm writing this one pretty fast; it seems to be writing itself, in fact. Stay tuned.....

YES!  Go T'Pau!  That was amazing on her part.  Watch it, Nogura!  You're not making an experiment of Jim without the Vulcans saying something about it!  This story is so good. Poor Jim, though.  Such stress can't be good for the baby/babies.  And Spock was fantastic sticking up for him here.  (I think it's great that Sarek is supportive of Spock with Jim but not with Uhura.  Perceptive, isn't he?  Although T'Pau's reaction to this news of her grandson's future child was probably interesting.)  Again, looking forward to more! ~ RK

Oh wow!  I didn't think you were going to go the pon farr route with this story.  But, *fans self*  that's some of the hottest pon farr sex ever.  Ugh!  And Jim right at the end there.  I hope that Bones is worrying about the wild animal sex hurting the pregnancy for nothing.  What a blow that would be if something happened.  Oh, man, the thought of that makes me nervous. ~ RK

Author's Response:

No, no. Jim will be fine. No miscarrige, nothing of that kind. Baby is fine. But as I said, I didn't think anyone had ever done the pon farr in Mpreg, so fearlessly going where angels fear to tread....

Last two chapters were fantastic!  I can't even find anything specific on which to comment except that apostrophe.  (However, I did particularly enjoy the one sentence "Spock shut up and ate his strawberries."  The image was cute.)  I'm so excited!  Great work! ~ RK

I think you misunderstood the apostrophe; I was talking about Vulcan babies in general, not Jim's in particular. But I'm glad you enjoyed the chapters. You will find out about Jim's offspring soon.

I come back here to discover once again that there has been some serious updating to this story.  To make up for my lack of obsessively checking for them, a trail of reviews is oncoming.  Here we go.

I already am craving more info and scenes with T'solin.  He sounds awesome!  And Bones probably even likes him because he's now got a partner in crime with whom he can harass Jim with the "giant fucking [Vulcan] hypos of death!"  HAHA!  Him repeating the phrase was amazing.  Ooh, and he's empathic!  Yes.  He is proving to be interesting.

*gathers confetti from last chapter review...THROWS IT EVERYWHERE!*  YAY!  Twins!  AGH!  Multiple birth!  So exciting!  Thanks for this.  (Not just twins, but the whole story...Just gets better and better!) ~ RK

Awww, Scotty trying to clue Jim in to the fact that Spock cares for him.  If that didn't clue him in, you would think Spock coming along with altered shirts would have been more evidence!  Oh, Jim, you can be so dense.

I'm very curious as to what is going on with this "Vulcan paranoia" around their new planet.  It's getting me nervous.

Oh no, a Clan Gathering?  That sounds intimidating - plus the idea that it seems like Spock is very much against this idea!  Poor Spock.

And I seriously wanted to smack Jim at the end there with Selik (no matter how much I love Selik!).  This will be an awful blow to Spock's insecurities. ~ RK
