Even the captain catches a cold from time to time, but at least he has a friend like Spock to cheer him up.

When Jim explains some of the traditions of Christmas, Spock gets an idea.

A glitch in the instant messaging programming causes messages to go awry and Jim's surprise goes around the ship. Then it goes missing! Who took it? Messages between crew members, just for fun.

What was Spock going to say when Jim cut him off in that oh-so-important moment in the Narada incident?

Nero changed a lot more than anyone could have anticipated. When he destroys Vulcan, he starts a major conflict between Earth and New Vulcan. Could the peace-loving inhabitants of the destroyed desert planet really be capable of such violence?

So like a few other fics I've seen: Vulcan is at war with Earth/Terran’s (so maybe make Vulcan’s more warrior like?)

Kirk and his crew on a mission (you choose what), get captured by the Vulcan’s and are interrogated and tortured physically and/or mentally (especially Kirk) because he has info on something (you choose, security codes or something) 

Spock is still half human, so even though he's the son of Sarek (the leader?) he's not trusted and is the interrogator/torturer of Kirk and isn’t as high in rank as he should be.

Then can something happen in which the Vulcan’s decide Spock’s too dangerous and so sentence him to death (and beat him up etc?)  Then have him escape with Kirk and crew and all are beamed aboard a Terran ship, welcoming Kirk and crew but Spock is thrown in the brig (despite protests from Kirk?)

You can find some way that they all work together and end the war or something and Kirk and Spock get together

Bonus points: if Jim angers Spock and Spock rapes (or nearly rapes) him when he’s being interrogated.
if someone’s injured when they escape but Spock helps them
And if they play chess while Spock’s in the brig
