This is what happens when I have trouble with my longer stories.
So...I ended being dragged out to the wilderness on an impromtu camping trip this past weekend where I was attacked by tree spiders in the morning, rained on in the after noon and freezing my ass off in a tent at night. It wasn't long before I became inspired--something not uncommon when one is miserable--to write a sixth addition to the Intergalactic Fuck Olympics Series.
In this week's episode, Spock and Jim are forced to camp on an away mission after an ion storm takes out their communicators, phasers and so on. With two feverish crew members huddled in a tent together, Spock is forced to decide between risking a second sexual encounter with Jim or sitting outside their one remaining tent, cold and alone, the fire providing very little warmth indeed.
Nicely done, with only one picky point. It's taut skin, not taught. You mean tight, not learning a lesson. :)
Good catch. I suck at proofreading my own work. I've started letting it sit for a day, then coming back and finishing it the next and that seems to help, but I always miss SOMETHING! Especially shit like this--I know the difference between taut and taught and allude and elude and yet I keep missing them!! LOL
The Enterprise is called home by Admiral Archer, and the crew is granted an unexpected shore leave. A miscommunication and good intentions lead to Jim, Bones, and Spock sharing a living space for the duration of their time on Earth. When some relationships come to a close, others begin to blossom.
Follows "Initial Impressions" and is Fourth in the Metamorphosis to T'hy'la Series.

This is in answer to Nocturnal Nightengale's "escort service" challenge. Basically, Jim is dreading his upcoming family reunion, and Spock volunteers to accompany him. While the two of them have fostered that epic friendship over the first two and half years of their mission, they're both dangling on the verge of something more.
That is, of course, until a little bit of mama drama makes Jim realize that it's time to stop wasting time.

Hey, no problems here, in fact feel free to pick up where I left off if you think there's anything to pick up and run with. Like I said, my confrontation skills are a less than awesome. :D Unless of course it involves a psychopath trying to kill people on the Enterprise, then I seem to fair pretty well...I don't know, probably because I DID get enough hugs as a child, LMAO
And now for the summary I wanted to writer earlier, but didn't have the time to:
Number seven in the Intergalactic Fuck Olympics. In this week's installment we get a look at Jim and Spock's POV during Sarek's voyage in route to a peace negotiation. This is a sequel of sorts to Jim and Spock Make an Impression.
It will be a three part edition which will include the story behind why Jim and Spock were in that supply closet in the first place, what led to that nooner in Jim's quarters and why did Bones think it was okay to just waltz in, as well as their POV when they walk in on Sarek and Bones going at it on a biobed.
And that's just the first two parts. Part three will include the much requested dinner that was alluded to but never actually written. Until now, that is.
PWP. If you aren't familiar with the series, I highly suggest you read the prequel to this first: Jim and Spock Make and Impression. It isn't imperative, but it will make things...clearer...

So I saw the summary for this story by eclipse, and then I thought of the manga Karneval, and then I thought, I want Tribble!Kirk! I know there's an actual (awesome) story with Jim and Spock as tribbles, but this is different. I want a real tribble to have been genetically engineered (or magically) to be a human being... named Jim Kirk. The reason he's male is because his creators didn't want him getting pregnant... but it doesn't work! I want Jim still adjusting to life as a human (whether he remembers being a tribble or not is up to you), with tribble-like behaviors and of course, mpreg!
Bonus points Abrams verse. Bonus points for very, very few people knowing he was a tribble (maybe Pike and Bones only? Maybe Spoke Prime doesn't even know?). Bonus, bonus points for Spock being very, very confused by illogical tribble!Kirk (and of course being unable to resist him ^_~)

In Jim's dream they do, LOL. And you know what--I DID some pretty extesnive research. I didn't find ANY official descriptions--not on memory alpha OR star trek wiki that said they didn't have feet, and Google turned up exactly nada, but they also didn't go into detail on how they DID move (and they CAN move, i just watched the ep yesterday and again today)...so I'm going with teeny, weeny, itsy bitsy feets. And if you don't like it, then either provide me with a freaking link that tells me what they DO have or deal with it, you anal retentive dilhole. lol
Read The Trouble with Tribbles--The Full Story of the Classic Star Trek Episode by David Gerrold, the guy who wrote the script. He will tell you tribbles don't have feet. So there--philistine.
WHERE do I find it and HOW do they move if not with little bitty feets--Ms. Anal Retentive.
They roll or they hump up and down--sort of like a caterpiller. And actually, that movement might work really well if you ever get Jim and Spock betwen the sheets "snicker."
