Finally caught a clue and started reading this when you'd gotten to Chap 12 and inhaled the whole damn thing at like, warp 10.  Can't say enough good things about the pace, the plot, the feelings Spock has that he keeps hidden behind the 'mask', SO digging the guy going through the 'holy shit, i'm pregnant, but i'm not readies'.  Loving the Phlox cameo!!!!!  (Stops babbling long enough to take a deep breath :D).  Onwards and upwards, now DIEING for more!!!! Put me out of my misery already...

Thanks so much for the review -- I'm super pumped that you like what you've read thus far! *squeeze*

And that you don't think I'm overdoing the Spock feelings...that's a relief for my mind...

I think that I may need to add the "angst" descriptor to this story, thanks to chapters 12 & 13 (which is currently in progress) -- just because I wanted to bring Kirk's inner conflict out, trying to make this a different MPREG kind of story. One where there's actually some serious thought about whether or not it's a good thing, rather than Kirk and Spock just instantly being all happy about it, since they're in kind of a different place in my story than they normally are in your typical MPREG stories.

I love bringing in characters from the other series, when possible (and when they'd actually contribute to the storyline). I think it lends a sense of continuity that wouldn't otherwise be there.

Had me gasping on the floor LMAO!  I cannot believe I missed the brig "Worse.  I betrayed you"  line.  First time I saw this, I did blink, somewhat bemused, at the "Not in front of the Klingons", but I was young and innocent and had yet to discover the slashy goodness of K/S.  Gotta say tho' that the whole point of Star Trek is cheese by the  shuttlecraft-load, and in defense of STV, have you seen the travesty that is STIV?!  Futuristic killer whales with a grudge and a doomsday machine?  Really!?
