TOS A/U novella. Six months after being taken prisoner and raped by a Vulcan captain, Kirk finds that same Vulcan is now being assigned as his first officer when peace between Vulcan and Earth is declared. Originally published in the print fanzine Beyond Dreams 7 (2004), edited by Jenna Sinclair.
This is, I think, my favorite kirk/spock story of all the ones I've read. You truely came up with a remarkable story, while staying true to the characters. I'm looking foward to reading another story by you. Please, please post one! :)
Takes place in the ending of the TOS episode, "Requiem for Methusulah". In third person, but namely from the POV of Spock's thoughts. Just my take on the situation. Pre-slash. Sort of angsty desire, I guess. xP

Jim’s luck finally runs out, or does it? Yet another uber-angsty/HC/First Time story (implied rape, not described). Pure mood piece. One of the very few things I liked about the latest movie was Pike, so I’m stealing him for TOS and ignoring the Menagerie episode. Dedicated to my cat of 14 years whom I adore dearly, but am still wildly allergic to. I appreciate feedback—it’s the only thing that motivates me to keep writing.
OMG that was soooooooo goood!!! God it made my day. I loved the part where Jim named the spagetti. I couldn't stop laughing. That was such a cute little scene.
This is so good! When I first saw the summery I thought it would be a little silly. But it's great! (Although, I was a bit suprised that Spock would text in class) First, because you are just so realistic! For example when Spock has his first kiss with Jim, and he describes it as slimey and kind of awkward, that's exactly how I felt when I had my first little make out. (lol) And Spock's parents are funny. When they asked "how did studying go?" I was thinking Spock should say, "Fascinating, we had a very detailed study of the human anatomy." lol.
Second, it's interesting to see Spock experiencing the misery of teenage hormones (especially MALE human teenage hormones).
Poor Spock, I could see that coming. Jim is so mean. I hope it turns out well.

Wonderfully written! I love how you characterized Spock, it was absolutely perfect, efficient and to the point. Not bothering to waste anytime on normal social dialog. I loved how spock pointed out so well that Kirk was wrong. I also liked the reference to the cat. :) thanks for sharing!
Jim isn't going to stay in Iowa forever. He's got his eyes on the stars - and the aliens that come from them. And between the guy who threw up on him in a bar, and the Vulcan who seems to think he's a particularly odd experiment, he just might do it.

Jim realizes he cannot deny his feelings for Spock ever since the event on Psi 2000. But Spock himself has feelings for Jim. Somehow Spock keeps seeing images of someone he knows but doesn't in the form of nightmares.
Will he able to understand what those images mean or will it be too late?
Wonderful!! You ended chapter 2 with a great hook, and so dramatically. I really hope you continue!

Sometimes you can only tell a person how you really feel in a letter that they will never ever read. However, some things never work out as planned. How was Jim supposed to know that he accidentally activated the auto forward feature on his e-mail account? Stupid voice recognition software.
This is a collection of e-mails that Jim writes to Spock that his first officer is never supposed to actually read but somehow ends up reading anyway.
More!! This keeps getting better and better! What does Spock think of the letter? lol I went back and reread the first chapter just to see it through spocks point of view. haha. can't wait for more!

There was a little problem with my beta's E mail and messages not arriving. The chapter was accidentally lost for two weeks. My beta has it now and hopefully I'll be able to post by 3/12/11. I apologize for the delay. The good news is I have the chapter after that done and I'm proofreading now.
