I needed a jolt of K/S to start my day in a positive way. I was pleased to see you had posted a short story and really enjoyed this "slice of life". You have a wonderful knack of injecting humour while maintaining a serious tone. I laughed at "You're a Vulcan cactus!" I loved that Spock didn't let Jim leave without a closing remark to calm him in case he felt rejected by his refusal to have sex in the rain.
Hello! So lovely to hear from you! And such a kind, thought-out comment! <3 I wasn't sure how the Vulcan Cactus comment was actually going to be received but I'm glad it was okay, especially coming from a lightly-teasing Jim. ;) Thanks for continuing to comment!

How nice is that! I love it so much. But bad! It is short, not enough words, not enough time to spent time with it.
Sorry it wasn't longer, but I'm glad you liked it anyway! Thank you for commenting.

That was nice!
I've read a lot of stories where Spock hates water, but I always figured that since water is necessary for life, and since water is scarce on Vulcan, rather than hating water, Vulcans would practically worship water. Thanks for making that thought into a cute story. :-)
Thank you! I think the hatred of water comes from the Vulcans are like Cats thing? But not all cats dislike water. So I agree with you, Vulcans would probably worship water. That prompt that inspired this fic convinced me of that headcanon/canon (I don't know which it is anymore atcually! Haaha!) Glad you enjoyed the story! Thank you for your comment!

You know every time it rains, I’ll think of a naked Spock lounging on a balcony. I’ll never complain about the rain again!
I don't think Jim will either ;) A naked, wet Spock is a deliscious Spock. Glad to plant the image in your head forever with this fic. ~ RK

It’s wonderful when you have a partner that respects your needs—even if they don’t truly understand
Exactly! Too many relationships are missing that key component. Once you experience that, it's a basic requirement. Thank you for reviewing! ~ RK
