So glad to see you back! You my queen, are the one who hooked me on MPREG. I loved this little fic. I was a great folloe up "Mama" and it was nice to see the healing between Jim and his Mom.

I look forward to reading more of your works and maybe even completion of a few that have been hanging. Thank you again for sharing your talent.

I loved it!!  I’m so glad that you’re writing again.  The fandom hasn’t been the same without you.

Author's Response:

I will probably be around more. Glad you liked it.

Lovely little story, as always. It's so good to see you writing again -- you've been sorely missed!

My only other comment, and please don't take this the wrong way as this is not a criticism of you or this story specifically, has to do with the pervasive use of female stereotypical clothes, toys, nurseries -- well really everything -- with respect to babies and girls of the female persuasion in every fandom whose fanfic I've read. Must everything be pink and reek of Disney princesses? I hated pink when I was a girl, never had or wanted a Barbi doll, and was a total tomboy. I hated dresses, especially ones with lace and ruffles. And maybe Spockette will too. It would be nice to at least allow for the possibility. Shouldn't they be beyond gender stereotyping by the 23rd century? I would hope so since sexual orientation doesn't seem to be an issue, not to mention mpreg.

Like I said, I don't mean this as an attack on you personally. I'm just so tired of seeing these attitudes among new parents of girls in fanfic and, well, I guess you won my rant roulette. I've long been a fan of your writing and am truly happy to have a new story of yours. I look forward to seeing many more of your works in the near future and sincerely hope that you won't let this comment discourage you from writing, even about little girls. :).

Author's Response:

That's ok. However, in this particular fic, Amanda and Jim are both thrilled over having a darling little girl to spoil, so they're going overboard with pink and frills.
