Loved it. I like how you dealt with the fact that Spock is mating out of season...a perfect fix. And for some reason, I see this as TOS also. I think kirk in the reboot is a bit more submissive. Great story....great job!
Some day I hope to return to slash and tell the story about how they figured out how you use the bond to kick-start Vulcan sex drives. :) But there are Soo many WIPs on my hard drive (gen so they'll appear in my account on ao3, not here) to get through first... :)

I read this this morning and it made me smile. Spock is generally portrayed as being beyond sex or getting horny in a lot of media, but it is always good to see that he can get hot and bothered like the rest of us. Of course, Jim's letting his horniness flood across the bond is a dirty trick, but that Vulcan needs to see what it's like to be human now and then,, right?
Haha, yes :)
I figure it will take a lot to get Spock frustrated and horny, and I thought it would be interesting to start with him being all cool and collected, bemused at the needy human, and then end with the tables (somewhat turned).

I love the idea that MOST Vulcans only mate in season, but the benefit of having a human bondmate is that he can feed his lust to his lover over their telepathic link! (So that's why it was logical for Sarek to marry Amanda! :-D)
I also enjoyed Spock's snarking at Kirk with I submit, however, that there is little in your thoughts that is not already, shall we say, on display. :-)
I loved thinking with his pulse hammering at his throat and adrenaline coursing through his system - that was his specialty because yes, thinking well on his feet IS Kirk's specialty, and that IS how he got to be the youngest captain in the fleet. (Other people want to see hot sex in stories. Personally, I want to see great character development. Mine is a minority taste, I fear. :-D)
And yes, when Jim thinks god, if Spock like this wasn't the most beautiful thing the captain had ever seen, I'm sure an aroused Spock would be stunningly beautiful. A thought shared by ten million other fangirls. :-)
I also love the humor in Dammit. Plans never survived first contact with the enemy anyway.
An enjoyable little tale, with some interesting ideas about Vulcanity tucked inside!
Thanks Weirdlittlestories! And especially thanks for urging me to finally post here on the archive.
