A lovely ending to a story that began so painfully. I love your characterization of reboot Kirk: brilliant, loyal, stubborn, ethical, agonizing over the responsibilities of command.

I don't generally read a lot of reboot, but I liked this very much. A very realistic tale of the consequences of the second movie. Well done!
