I love it when Jim writes his name on the palm of Spock's hand, such a meaningful gesture!

Author's Response:

Yes, sometimes it's the small things which count, eh.

I really liked this very much! You caught Spock and Jim`s personalities very well and I look forward to the next part of the series.

One little nitpick though: Kirk was on Tarsus VI. Talos was the planet that Spock took Captain Pike to.

Author's Response:

Thanks for your review! I thought i'd fixed that error!!! Will check again.

Very nice.
I like this work. Your Amanda is adorable and Jim and Spock are so good together. There first time together is so nice. Thank you for sharing.

Author's Response:

Thankyou Sera! Glad it brought you some joy. I always thought there needed to be a couple of extra scenes in the episode...:-)

Aww!  This was great.  I love the awkwardness I always imagined with Jim and his in-laws on the same ship, and you captured that beautifully.  I have but one ignorant question:  wasn't Talos the planet they left Pike on and Tarsus the planet Jim was on with Kodos?  Just a question. I may have it backwards after all this time, I wouldn't be surprised.  You did a wonderful job and I'd really like to be there when Sarek finds out for sure.  Thanks a lot.

Author's Response:

Ah you are of course right... I blame tiredness and fuddled brain. Will fix it! And thanks for your kind review! There's more to come...

This definitely deserves more reviews! I really enjoyed your take on the whole 'Journey to Babel' and the relationship between Kirk and Spock is really dynamic. You gave me lots of interesting things to think about for my new story and I'm eternally thankful to you for that :)

keep going!

Author's Response:

Thanks for stopping to comment... I chuckle to myself about Chekov and Sulu in a cupboard with polish and a mophead! Hope you did too...
