Wow, that was a rollercoaster ride of a fic! There was a genuine and tangible sense of terror in this - I'm sure I will have nightmares tonight! What was particularly good was that you evoked the feeling of a real TOS episode - that is so valuable :)
Also I liked how Kirk and Spock talked to each other - they used proper, manly terms of endermeant rather than being all 'ashaya' this and 'cutesy pie' that...
The only criticism I have is the fact that the apparent suicide was introduced very late on and apparently didn't seem to be much on the minds of the crew, given that it was so recent. It came across as either flippant or unbelievable, depending on which view one took, at least to me. But I still loved this story - thanks for posting!
Thanks, so much for taking the time to tell me your thought. I really appreciate it. I'm happy that you enjoyed the story and hope that you didn't have any nightmares. LOL

Just wanted to say loved the title. I googled it to see what it meant and loved that he was one of the four crowned princes of hell. No wonder Jim was scared of him.
Yeah, maybe a little over the top? LOL

I cannot believe that this was your 3rd story, it was amazing the only thing missing was a Gothic castle. It was a long story and normally I would have to put it down and come back to it, but it had me gripped from the beginning. As I have been laid up for 2 weeks after having an operation on my foot, it really was great to have a story to read and to take my mind off a very painful foot.
I understand what was said about the poltergiest, as I am very much into horror stories, but it didn't think it matter too much as it was wonderfully spooky. I loved K/S relationshhip and also really adored Bones especially the bit about not scaring the new nurses before they got used to him.
Sorry seemed to have been rambling on a bit, but it was very good story.
I've had foot surgery in the past so I understand your pain, and am thrilled that this story could take you away from it even for a little while. You have just given me such a huge compliment in saying that. Knowing more about the 'dark' stuff now I would have changed some things, but back then there was no internet to look things up easily like today. God, I'm showing my age big time!
I get such a kick out of writing dear Bones. Love him to pieces.
I do relish putting the boys into strange situations and seeing how they handle it.

Surprisingly, there aren't many horror/mystical or even fantasy themed fics in star trek fandom - that I've seen. You are the mistress of creepiness! I really enjoyed this.... It was a refreshing read to see this theme and you blended ghosts so well with the overarching star trek mythos.
Who was that woman in white, though?
Interested that the poltergeist was a young person as poltergeist activity usually comes from teenagers (girls), although it is not considered to be an entity itsely... Rather.... Energy, I guess focused destructively. I'm no expert.
Anyway, I loved reading this, and appreciate you posting, and look forward to more!
Thank you, I'm very pleased that you were able to enjoy this story inspite of the troubles I experienced in getting my thoughts across as clearly as I would have liked at 20 as I do now that I'm a older... ahem... and a little better at crafting a story. The woman was a guardian angel who watches over Kirk. I was thinking he would need one as well as having Spock in his life to keep him safe. LOL
