WHEW. Borg attack, another Kirk at the helm sending the intruders to hell while the loved ones go to safety ... breathtaking. I knew Jim wasn't dead because the bond didn't seem to snap for Spock. I thought the ship took him, but I never thought Trelane would just drop him, helpless, on Spock. But I have faith; much later, Captain Jean-Luc Picard will survive being a Borg. I'm rooting for Jim. I don't hate you for your twists and turns. Nah. I like them!

I couldn't hate you for writing more of this story XD I love this story.
BUT I AM FREAKING OUT.
So many things, hive-mind withdrawal, pesky implants, are they gonna have to find him a sleep chamber? How is their level of medicine even going to deal with all the, maybe Spock Prime can help with that, but he's prolly gonna be stuck with at least some implants. Was he there long enough to go bald and translucent?

I loved this chapter. I actually read it yesterday, but my husband has laryngitis and was being a severe pain in the ass. Couldn't spare the time to review. I swear men are worse that babies when they get sick and I have proof, as my 3 year old daughter also had laryngitis and was still able to maintain her independence.
Anyway, great chapter and great story. Is this the last chapter? It sure read as thought it could be, but the status still says "complete: No".
