This turnaround was little weird, sweet and super fun. In my opinion, the best part was "pretty obviously delighted" Selik. I laughed so hard imagining him standing there next to shocked Sarek, just like, satsified.

Fantastic work.  I love the idea of Jim being the one to stand up and T'Pring being the one who has to be left behind.  It was great!  Can't take credit for it but I love it all the same.  This is excellent, and really cheered me up tonight.   Thank you.  (By the way, I was listening to the soundtrack from Star Trek as I read this.  Appropriate, no?)

What a brilliant storyline... why have I never thought of this? And the story's adorable too, particularly when it comes to T'Pring. At least she ended up with Stonn after all. Also, love the line about T'Pring holding a grudge until menopause.

This might possibly be the best thing ever. Vulcan females go through pon farr too, so the males should be able to choose a champion! Jim was awesome in this, and go interfering!prime!Spock!

Love the way you kept Spock in the dark about the goings-on. And Selik. Every fandom should have a character with enough foreknowledge to play Cupid so well :)

Great short story; I loved every line. You had some really good jokes in there and a clever, unpredictable plot. Your writing technique as flawless as always. Maybe sometime if you feel like it a sequel would be fun.
