This is just heart-breaking. I don’t understand why Spock had to go, I really don‘t.

So is this completed or not? If it is not completed, it should be in the Works in Progress category.

Oh mercy.  Mercy this was good, and I only understood like 40% of it.  I was just torn to bits at the idea of a love song saying goodbye being put in Vulcan.  And the image of Jim screaming at the ceiling at the end?  Spine chilling.  Oh mercy.  You've sucessfully pulled me down from a sugar binge.  I'm grounded now.  Now I need a hug from somebody.  Your work, as always, is phenomenal.  Thank you.

So sad, but so very Jim Kirk. He would rather take all of the burden of pain, than see Spock suffer.

Wow, you managed to capture this moment to the point. I can absolutely imagine that this is how it happened. Spock unable to come to terms with his emotions despite their love. Kirk fighting for him but finally - out of love - giving in, wanting the best for Spock. I think it is very fitting that you used the Vulcan language for Jim's thoughts who - I am sure about this - would have immersed himself in the culture of his beloved, carrying this heritage in his soul just like the bond they shared. This Vulcan part of his soul will be both a blessing and a curse for him after this farewell - it stands for the imprint Spock has left on his life which will never be erased. It appears also very Vulcan to me, that Kirk showed - no matter how reluctantly and after how fierce a fight - a kind of understanding for Spock's decision, even at the cost of this self-sacrifice. Beautifully written. And I will never be able to listen to that song again without thinking of this scene.
