I agree with CMM - it could work from either point of view, although I always think of Spock as being the one who pines in secret, while Jim is blissfully unaware. Either way, nice poem!
Author's Response: Thanks for review my friend. Jim believes that if he does say something it may backfire, and he could lose that friendship...so he says nothing. Of course, like CMM says Spock would probably do the same thing.

Aww, this was beautiful. I admire you for doing poetry; I can't do it. This captures very well Jim holding in his love for Spock and hoping one day he'll be able to tell him. Poor Jim. Great job!

I thank you for thinking I can write poetry. Not everyone enjoys it because poetry is personal and sometimes bores and confuses people. I try to make it simple..Only 84 words and voila...I managed to capture what Jim feels...thanks again...
