This was absolutely adorable, I love your writing style!! I can't wait to read the other senses in this series!
Thank you so much! It's a special pleasure when reviews arrive after a long time.

What’s the fuck just happened?
Oh, I can't wait for them to find the answer to that!
Very interesting character study piece. I like the dual POV. The way they perceive each other, the insight into their respective psychology, and the slow evolution from thoughts to first real touch...oooh! And a touch that was undoubtedly very far from the clinical handshake Jim seemed to expect! When Spock touches, he TOUCHES: exploring each little detail, cataloguing it, breathing it in, memorizing in that phenomenal brain of his to remember until the end of times. And Jim retaliating in kind... really nice. And what a pleasure that this is only the first step of many! :-D I can't wait to read the rest...not tonight, unfortunately. But I'll be back for sure. :)
Thank you for your detailed, insightful review. I love it when a reader finds out something about a story that the author(s) themselves don't know =)I am especially proud of what you write about Spock!
I hope you are going to like the rest too.

Oh... the continued hand obsession! But this time Spock is obsessed with Jim's hands - and he actually asks to *touch* his hand. I wonder how Jim is going to react...
*scurries off to read more*
From the fact that things get mutual very fast, you can guess where this is going to end...

This ended pretty angsty... Poor Jim, hating himself because of his feelings for Spock.
Although I do love how obsessed he is with Spock's hands. That's 1 part adorable and 3 parts hot. ^^
"1 part adorable and 3 parts hot" is an excellent definition for athens' Kirk!

Oh Spock... yes, James T. Kirk really does bend and break the rules of reality. So it's best just to give in now...
Giving in is hard in direct proportion to how hard it was to build one's worldview. Spock is going through the wringer just now =)

I really like Jim's interpretation of their relationship. He is so aware of Spock - of his gaze, of his opinion.
I can't wait to see where you take this - so I'm off to read more. ^^
Kirk is as skilled at focusing as he is at taking in situations as a whole. By now you will have already discovered where we took the story; but allow me to state that, speaking for myself, angst is fine (after all, that's what life is mostly made of), but I have a thing for happy endings. Of some sort...

Interesting start. I love the way Spock watched Jim's pants, lol.
Quite. He's so literal, it's one of the ways in which you can see he is not human. More like a dog, or a child just beginning to learn verbal communication, if you come to think of it that way =)

Just started this first one and am enjoying much! One teensy error showed up: the phrase "my captain is all but an idiot" actually means, he's almost a complete idiot. I think perhaps ye were meaning to say "my captain is anything but an idiot"...
other'n that, I like! reading onwards now...
Oh. I apologize. Translation of Vulcan turns of phrase into Standard still leaves me baffled at times. Thank you. I have fixed it. Athens and I hope you will like the next parts.
