I thought I had reviewed this story. I remember reading it more than once and found it a very special piece. It's those stories, you remember and go back to read once again. Despite being a short piece, it has such an impact in its delivery. Two lonely souls, needing something to hold on to. Many people would like a follow-up, but I find it perfect this way. It leaaves us imaginimg an end to their predicament.
Thanks for sharing..

Aw, crap 4 months already? Will they be rescued eventually? As nice as their Christmas presents might have been, I hope the next ones will be exchanged on the Enterprise!?
Author's Response:
Oh, I'm sure they'll engineer a cunning escape at some point!

Lol, this reminds me of how people where I live were asked by a radio station to post their favourite Christmas "excess" (Christmas is always expected to become a food excess - however, the doctors always advise against it, so new excesses needed to be found). A few people said "sex", and one of my workmates was very displeased... he said, Holidays means "holy days"! - but I thought, if it's love then what's wrong with showing love during the holidays? Fanfic included... :)
Author's Response:
Glad you liked it :-)
And yeah, holiday may have meant holy day in Anglo-Saxon times (and a while after, I suppose) - but I think the meaning probably broadened long before your workmate was born! (unless they're *really* old...) I imagine he wouldn't approve of K/S slash much, either...

Oh I loved this!!! Despite the harshness of their conditions it was such a totally hot and incredibly sweet moment. Jim and Spock are able to find solace and hope in each other's arms and realize each other is all they really need. Truly lovely and really well-written. Thanks a lot. :)
Author's Response:
Thanks :-) i'm glad you think it's well-written, too, because I did it so quickly in between all the Christmas Eve things I had to do, so I didn't have much time to check it over.

Oh my. Please continue this!
Author's Response:
:D Thanks! I wrote it very quickly as a present for a friend on deviantArt, who's into K/S and prison fics... But I'm also planning a longer prison fic that will run along the same lines - it'll be a while in coming, but it will come :-) I don't know if I'll ever expand this one or not - you never know...
