I so approve of Spock and Jim making "indecently provocative squeaking sounds" together ;-D Such a pleasure to re-read this story. I love the moment of jaw dropping when Kirk spies badass Spock encased in leather - with his face as impassible as if he wore such attire every day, the little moment of uncertainty when Spock rests his chin on Jim's shoulder, when they are still unsure what is going to happen, and at the end when they know know what they have to look forward to, and know they'll do so together. Quiet, peaceful, and lovely. Thanks :D.

Oh, wow, this was gorgeous! Why, why, why isn't there more musial Spock fic? Music is a great passion of mine...do you play an instrument? I got all excited when you used those music terms so eloquently, ha ha.
This was everything I needed in a fic. So, so adorable, so, so sweet. Also, I totally remembered that I forgot to practice my violin today. But this was worth it. xD

Thank you so much!!! I definitely would love to see more writers tackle musical Spock. I have played piano since I was very young - in fact, I just got a piano in my apartment! I also played the violin through high school, so I'm familiar with stringed instruments too. (Though I never played the violin as eloquently as Spock plays the lyre. Although I did get to play an electric violin solo once with the orchestra backing me...which was kinda awesome.) I'm glad you really found something special in the fic.

This was also really great! It seems likely that Spock would find other ways to let Jim know that he loves him other than words, and him composing a musical piece to express it was so awesome! Great job on this one as well!

My god you write so well...such description, such emotion...it is a gift...i have not have had the opportunity to have seen the movie...i have read the novelization...i can only imagine them in my mind. I await patiently for the dvd in november. When a writer can convey so much visual description it is so easy to see the story unfold with such grace. You are amazing...
