Welcome to the Kirk/Spock Automated Archive! Here, you will find stories, poetry, and essays about Kirk and Spock. All works in the archive feature the Kirk and Spock relationship as a key element. (Please see the Help page for more details and specifics.) Please note: If you post work to the archive that does not meet this description, it will regretfully be deleted. The posting of works in progress is not permitted. All stories must be complete before uploading to the archive. Please read the FAQs for more information about how to format your story for posting before you begin.

A Note About Reviews: Flames are not permitted, period. A "flame" is defined as any comment that addresses an author directly in an insulting or personal manner, uses profanity, and/or breaches the limits of common courtesy in some other manner. Reviews may be critical and honest, but hence forward, any comments deemed to be "flames" by the archivist will be deleted, and the commenter will be banned immediately and permanently from accessing the site. If you have any doubt about whether the comment you are about to post is a flame, err on the side of caution.

A huge thank you to Robin Serrano at Slashcity for her tremendous help in getting this set up. It's been a long, lonely time on the net with no automated K/S Archive, and it's my hope that this thing will see heavy use. I would love it if we could make this a central resource for K/S and Kirk-Spock fiction online.

If, after reading the Help FAQs, you're still confused about how to use the archive, please e-mail me, and I will do my level best to help you. Please spread the word, and upload your work as soon as you can! Also, please let me know if you have any suggestions for making this a better archive.

Wondering how to get started? Use the Categories page to sort the documents in the archive by Author, Title, Keyword, Category, Genre, Warnings, Characters, or Ratings. If you're looking for a specific story and can remember something about it, or if you'd like to search for stories of a particular type, try the Search page. You don't need to register or log in to read the stories. To upload a story, you will need to create a Login account. See the Help page for FAQs and more information.

Feedback feeds the fanfic writer's soul! Please use the Contact or Review feature to let them know what you thought.

Tip: Don't want to input the same classification info for each chapter of the same story? Under Your Account, under Edit User Information, select the checkbox marked "Carry Over Chapter Info." This will copy the settings from the first chapter into every subsequent chapter -- don't forget to change the chapter titles.

A note about warnings on stories:
The policy of this archive is to leave warnings to the author's discretion. This means that the author may or may not choose to warn you about the content of their story. This includes warnings for such things as non-consensual sex, character death, infidelity, and other plot elements, so proceed with a mature sense of responsibility for your own sensitivities, please.

A note to Mac users:
When using the site, if the instructions call for holding down the Control key, use the Command key instead. Also, Firefox is recommended for uploading stories on a Mac. (Safari or Netscape will work, but require some fiddling. See the Help page for more info.)

A note about story ratings:
This site has three ratings for content:
All Audiences - appropriate for all ages
Mature Content - appropriate for those 13 and up
ADULT - appropriate for adults only.
These ratings are chosen by the authors.
