OK..this is actually a song for the reboot trek...Now, I love the kirk/spock vid of E.T. by K Perry..so I decided to play with words and came up with this...it is just for fun...let me know what you think, when you have a minute..thanks...
Spock's body is changed by some weirdness or other than he has encountered out there in the Universe(s) - It becomes temporarily female.
He and Jim have sex while Spock's body is female...
Jim realises that he wants to make love with Spock, Always & All Ways, when Spock's body is returned to it's natural male gender-state.
Spock is in a quandry, because he's Always and All Ways, been in love with Jim...
Spock is in love with Jim and Jim is in love with Spock - Thankfully, they are afforded te privacy and relaxing environment where they find they are able to tell one another, for REAL, during a treasured shoreleave that they are sharing!
McCoy helps Jim to pick up, and sew back together, the pieces of his rather fractured heart... Or helps him to realise that at last being with Spock might do this for him...
Spock yearns for Kirk.
The first time Jim met Spock he wanted to kill him.
Edited now - It's rid of the typos in the Spock & Uhura friendship paragraphs and there's another line or two to the Scotty & Uhura scene...
A story written because I need to make it clear : In my view, Spock was never, at any point in their relationship, Uhura's tutor. I do NOT believe that he would partake in any such violation of ethics and honour code, and I do not believe that Uhura would go for that kind of man.... I find the whole thing distasteful, to be honest, rightly or wrongly...
I know that they are similar in age group anyway, and have always taken the view that Spock is a Cadet/a Graduate waiting around to Graduate at such time as The Academy feels proper - because no matter how hugely smart he is - they can't just let him rip through training & head out in to Space - Considering that he must have finished trainig even FASTER than James T. Kirk!!!
So, this story explains the circumstances surrounding Spock & Uhura's 'proto-relationship'. It also charts their mutual decision to not continue the romantic part of their friendship - because, coincidentally, both of them have fallen for their own someone else..!
Their bond is strong, but it is not T'hy'la - so each finding their T'hy'la - they talk to each other about that, and the dissolvement of their relationship!
Someone is stalking Jim - and his actions are getting progressively worse.

Dealing with Jim's words to the reporter, Rodenberry, after the V'Ger incident - Jim's quote comes in to question after he and Spock are rescued from an ice planet mission gone bad (shortly after the V'Ger Mission & all that entailed)... Read TMP: The Novelisation by G. Rodenberry, IF you have NOT already done so... That's my recommendation.
