This is a follow-up to Tiny and Tuvok, but you can probably read it on its own. Note: There is some restrained violence; Jim gets hurt, but not by Spock, and I don't describe the attack in detail.

So, without any further ado...
Jim never made it to the bar to meet Pike. Instead, he ran away from home to become a computer tech at Starfleet, trying to save money to put himself through classes. Commander Spock meets him after he is attacked by three Starfleet cadets, and that changes his entire plan for his life.
Spock’s developing relationship with Uhura could not have come at a more inconvenient time, but the Captain is willing to help out in any way he can.

McCoy confronts Jim about his doomed relationship with Spock.
After witnessing a third time, McCoy could no longer fool himself into thinking it was casual touching no matter how drunk he got.

The Terran Empire responds to a planetary distress signal from Vulcan. Their goal is not to aid, but to enslave the survivors. Captain Pike’s capture leaves his young first officer, James T. Kirk, in command of the ISS Enterprise. As the surviving Vulcans are subdued, one of them catches Kirk’s interest. In that moment, everything changed.
Written for the Star Trek XI Kink Meme prompt found here: "So, you know how Vulcans can heal themselves by going into a healing trance? Right. Well, Spock gets injured and does that. Jim, being the smitten man he is (though Spock doesn't know that) sits with him in Sickbay while he's trancing it out. And, since Spock's unconscious, he talks to him. Says all manner of things he would never say to conscious Spock. Okay he doesn't know that the nature of the Vulcan healing trance means Spock can hear every word he says and will remember it when he wakes up."
Mistletoe is springing up all over the ship, and when Uhura kisses Spock, who shows no reaction, the women decide to set traps for him. Kirk is annoyed.
There's no excuse for this really, just my sleep-deprived mind.
It was bound to happen eventually. The Enterprise has finally run out of luck.
