Shortly after the events of ST XI, Spock must deal with his losses and his contempt for his new captain. This story is finally done!!
Spock and Uhura are still together at the beginning of the mission, but falling apart. Uhura plans one last night together to try and save them,but the first deaths aboard the ship have Jim feeling guilty and alone.
When Spock comes to check in on him and Jim asks him to stay, will Spock choose to end his relationship with Uhura or start one with Jim?
In the aftermath of events on Ixmahx, Spock prepares to leave Kirk and Starfleet, but galactic events soon draw the crew of the Enterprise into a volatile political situation that will profoundly affect them all.

Spock has been haunted by dreams he's been having: Dreams of another life. When he's with Uhura, he can't help but think of the dreams, and he's beginning to think that being with her isn't what he is destined to do, and that his true destiny lies with Jim. He's confused; the James T. Kirk he knows is so different from the one he sees in his dreams.
Sometimes you can only tell a person how you really feel in a letter that they will never ever read. However, some things never work out as planned. How was Jim supposed to know that he accidentally activated the auto forward feature on his e-mail account? Stupid voice recognition software.

But, only major difference between the doctor and the captain is that Jim is drunk, and has a terrible hard-on from it. What will he do until McCoy finishes with his business in sickbay?
Spock is in trouble with his relationship with Uhura. But, he dare not say a word. Because the women tend to wear the pants in the family. Well, Spock's family they do.

After seven weeks of condescending hand-holding, Starfleet has finally given the Enterprise a mission worthy of the fleet's flagship. The mission that follows changes more than anyone could have imagined.
Spock is blinded in an explosion on the Enterprise that also kills the Pernician Ambassador, and finds himself recovering on Earth as the ramifications of the explosion unfold.
Jim has some very dark secrects from his past. Pike knows but he issues his challenge to join Starfleet anyway. Can Jim live up to Pike's belief in him? What happen's when he meets the only Vulcan teaching at the Academy?
Summary:
AU. Academy Fic. Jim's maternal bloodline is that of Federation alligned Humanoid race known as Veenans (Veena for singular), a peaceful, advanced race that are also heavily empathic. Because of their genetic evolution, some are even telekenetic. This species is uniguely united; seeing as all others as "brothers" and "sisters". Also, because of their genetic makeup, Veenans hardly, if ever, engage in sex with someone without a proper empathic bond to keep them stable. One sign of a Veena is that their irises glow slightly when they are emotionally overwhelmed or excited. Veenu blood is strong in Jim, and after joining Starfleet, becomes infatuated with the Vulcan professor Spock. Due to Spock's half-Human heritage with a blend of Vulcan passions (albeit repressed), it appeals to Jim, who begins making an empathic bond with the Vulcan unknowingly. Spock finds Jim's company- as well as that of Uhura's -appealing. He, intially, sees Jim as nothing more than a friendly aqcuaintance, but overtime the Cadet's intelligence and friendly personality attracts him more and more. Eventual K/S. POINTS: Once Jim finds out he is unconsciously bonding with Spock, becomes horrified that Spock may not reciprocate, and tries to avoid the Vulcan in order to find a way to dissolve the bond. Spock becomes suspicious and won't take the hint to leave Jim alone. BONUS POINTS: Jim's mom is a sweetheart, and Jim confides in her his feelings with Spock, who then helps Jim come to accept what he feels. (Due to Winona being Veena, she is affectionate and close with her son, despite losing her husband at his birth.) BONUS POINTS: Before Spock realizes he's in love with Jim, Jim becomes slightly protective/possessive of Spock. Not violent- just somewhat defensive and territorial. Jim cannot help the primative instincts rising within him, and a few times confuses his friends, himself and Spock by the protective streak that he has over the Professor. PURE LOVE: If Spock's parents come for a Starfleet gala, and bring T'Pring and her family to visit as well. Jim does NOT like it, and gets paranoid/territorial of seeing T'Pring and Spock together.
